We can all play pretend and think they work. But is that cheap mask thats been re-used, continually adjusted or worn incorrectly really helping?
In Australia we had mask mandates during summer where temperatures would be over 35 degrees during the day. How well does a sweaty cotton mask work to stop covid?
1) Limited access to electronic devices or 2) Incarceration?
They got a pretty good deal wouldn't you say?
Australia has assisted US in most all major conflicts they have been involved in since WW2. Being a small democratic nation, the US is our most powerful ally and we have invested in that relationship for close to a century. We didn't just come knocking on the door yesterday 'begging' for help.
20 Years!
Edit: Downvotes, whats the best way to deal with colossal failure... pretend like it never happened. Afghanistan, huh? what are you talking about.
I say 'washing machine' as it is a swirling mass of unpredictability. Yes there are obvious patterns that follow the seasons, but forecasts are required to be much more accurate than predicting the weather by patterns of the season.
They need to be accurate to each day, predicting temp, rainfall, wind etc. etc. The only way to do that is to try and predict how this chaotic system will progress over a period of time. Thats why all these weather agency talk about their new 'supercomputers' able to create more accurate forecasts. The processing power required to build these models is enormous.
No matter if you are forecasting locally or across the multiple states or countries, it still depends on forecasting the outcome of this chaotic system.
But hey, I probably don't understand the science like 99.999999% of people. It's so technical that you just have to take their word for it. I do understand humans though.
Why are you so willing to vigorously defend them and deride opposing views as charlatans and crackpots? What have these politicians and media personalities done to deserve your undying loyalty and trust?
Imagine an unholy text book where once you turn the page, the pages before become inaccessible. Its your own fault for not understanding everything on the previous page and you have to read the entire thing before you can start again to find that page.
Yes its the users fault.
After all, your goal is to make sure the viewer understands the information being shown, not impressing them with moving text.
Guaranteed you could not tell if 10 randomly chosen apps were developed natively or cross platform. I'm sure you will say you can though.
You attracted better-qualified colleagues? How so exactly? You have a smaller pool of candidates to choose from. Are you implying native developers are just smarter?
Outdated opinions, favouritism and elitism all wrapped in one.
React native is for prototypes although it’s used in both the public and private sector to deliver apps. You can make 2 versions of an app in half the time apparently just by saying so.
Somewhere reality disappeared in your argument. Your employment history is of no concern to me.
You are generalising about attitudes of businesses who are concerned with return on investment, an obvious priority that I shouldn’t have to point out.
The reputation you mention is just an opinion based on inherent bias not shared by all. If you were to choose at random 10 reasonably well performing apps on the store you could in no way tell if they were developed ‘natively’ or not.
React native is compiled into native code, by definition it is ‘native’. It is not running in a virtual box or a web browser.
