I also think that the Techstars staff members were not adequate. Every single staff member had left by the next year. And when I would email the subsequent MDs about anything, I'd get no reply.

I felt proud going through the program until I learned about the branded programs emerging "Techstars Disney" and "Techstars Barclays". It felt like the prestige was vanishing, and I rarely mentioned it on my CV afterwards.
Funny though, I raised about $1M through the Techstars program, and over $10M through other VCs. The Techstars VCs were the least helpful (but this could have been the London ecosystem at the time. London, these days, is quite good when it comes to early stage, especially some of the syndicates like Ventures Together. I digress).
I edit directly inside my code and use tmux's send-to-pane to send my current line(s) to IRB. Ex: https://cln.sh/xXNlf51m
Do tech companies need to verify government issued IDs to register new users?
I don't get how they can sue Omegle for this.
Edit: was it because of the video component of Omegle?

amarkdown looks great, but I've been using vim. Obsidian points to that folder and I use that for publishing.
Now imagine instead of a empty rails shell, I had my server running there and I can set breakpoints. Or why not both a shell and a server?
I could have a rails console running below in a pane and send rails code directly from the file above.
Works with anything
I can have my code in pane 0 and my code console running a shell in pane 1, and simply use the send-keys command to execute the selected code (or line) instantly in pane 1.
I use this command more than 100 times per day.
I use them for their direct integration with paypal, who owns them
Great for those starting in Europe, it seems. And PayPal!!!!
For this very reason.
Copilot really does work wonderfully for me, as expected with any AI code completion. I run copilot and coc.vim simultaneously, to be noted. So when I just want to autocomplete a word, it'll be coc.vim, but when I want a whole line/method/etc built I'll let copilot be my copilot.
Nevertheless, I'm excited for them and continue to cheer them on until they mature.
Kudos to these companies, the VCs, and the beta testers.
1. People afraid AI will take their jobs
2. People using AI to take people's jobs
Although I won't be using Astro because I like my current setup, I really enjoy looking through other people's configs.
1. there is company bloat everywhere. Too many people going to work and 'hiding' instead of working.
2. tech is 10x better these days. You can do way more with way less.
As for weathering it, tech is still the fastest growing sector out there. It won't be hard to find a job.
- Everyone wants to scoop up as many resources as possible before everyone else.
- People lament the fact that certain players got lucky and have a head start.
- The majority of the board stops being salty and plays nice/negotiates to continue accumulating property.
- Eventually everything is purchased, the pecking order is firmly established, there is no negotiation because you either already have what you need or you lack resources to barter with, and the slow downward spiral begins until the game is over.
We are simply in the endgame now. The “you scratch my back, I scratch yours” phase of capitalism is over until we start a new game.
Is there an error on the page or just it just not play anything?
Trying to reproduce.
Edit: figured it out. Will fix!
I'm an indie entrepreneur, so it's just me on this project, but it's been great fun.
