I think it works using the file name of the epub. Not sure.
I think I call bullshit on this.
But I agree that they could do way more and that they don't seem to care.
I think it might actually be. It can break people.
A bit like "stop doing this..." and we think: omg, am I doing the same deadly mistake?
There's plenty of reasons to drop Google thought. They barely improve old products.
They probably try to force us to use their products: I think you can't use your own assistant with a wakeword. On my pixel watch 1, using a calendar other than Google's sucks. There is almost no useful wearos apps (sure, it's the devs jobs but Google could bribe them or something). A lot of great wear os apps would benefit everyone.
I'm still pissed that they want a monthly subscription for the sleep tracking with the Google home thing... That you buy with your own money.
Would it? If they don't want people to do it they could just use a proprietary license.
I don't think I would even bother to update a local patch on every releases. I'll just use another foss app without silly "pro" features.
DIY heat exchangers would be so awesome though. Only new constructions are required to have an heat exchanger here.
Is it open core? I see that the license is AGPL. Can I just edit the code to enable the "pro" features, or are they in another repo?
"enhanced security" sounds a bit like the open source version is gutted to encourage people paying for it. If so, it's a bit of a shame. Wouldn't it be better if everyone used this waf and the web would be more secure as possible for everyone?
