Android has been a discussion for us - it has Intents, so at least there is a baseline for doing inter-app communication, but it's still not as good as it could be.

This is dues to a memory/cpu "leak" because when you press reset it doesn't run "clearInterval". This could be done via introspection on the code to "undo" any running intervals/timeouts when the reset button is pressed, but the notion of "reset" is to reset the text, not reset the code, so leaving as is.

Overall, very slick. I'd recommend also being able to upload a presentation from the phone (by selecting it from gmail, dropbox, etc) so I could do the majority of the setup on my phone and minimal on the presenting computer.

Because we're so heavily client-side, we created a policy-based security api to allow you to control the actions allowed using the filepicker.js library, as well as actions in your developer portal that you can use to make things read-only, set the max allowed file size, etc.

Instead of getting the fpurl and passing that to zencoder via a $.ajax call, first pass it to your server and then hit zencoder server-side using one of their libraries.

We've been talking with the Close.io folks directly, but you may have experienced some slowness this weekend due to increased load. We're rolling out a new architecture soon that should address the issue for the next order of magnitude.

Regarding the response issue mentioned, we had a bug where we would not return the S3 key properly for a specific code path. The bug has since been patched and pushed to production.
