It's awful.
So yes, there is something wrong with it. Instead of letting the prices float to the settling rate of the market, they're being manipulated to reach a specific financial goal.
That is morally reprehensible, especially when it comes to shelter.
Idiots who complain about inflation and the price of gas yet who also are spending gobs of money on vehicles that get awful MPG.
You can't fix stupid. I have no sympathy for these people.
Someone can maintain a piece of land unproductively if they want to. They just have to pay for that right, same as anyone else that would want to own that piece of land.
There is a broad range of situations here. No one should want a blighted property just sitting there in places like NYC or LA where homelessness is rampant. However, no one is arguing to just teardown places like Central Park to put in more housing.
Still remains to be seen how much closer we have to get to feudalism before anything happens to change our trajectory.
Anything coming from the right should be taken with the biggest grain of salt the world has ever seen. There's a 99% chance that they're screaming about nothing and a 100% chance that they're not telling the entire truth.
Please explain to me how anything in the Twitter Files shows government censorship. Did the government threaten Twitter in any way? Did they force Twitter to remove these tweets? I'd also like to point out that this supposed "censorship" took place during the Trump administration.
For anyone that says "It's not an assault rifle!" - the AR platform comes off the shelf chambered for two different types of MILITARY ammunition. It is a weapon specifically meant to fire human-killing rounds. This is not an opinion; it is a statement of fact.
So to answer the question posed by the OP's post: the AR-15 mutilates the human body, as it was designed to do.
That's not helpful and it's woefully ignorant of people's opinions.
It just screams laziness and as a fan of the HP world it's a disappointment to not get to learn anything else about the Wizarding World.
It's extraordinarily hard to differentiate between trolls and non-trolls online anymore so I don't see what's wrong with asking that of someone.
SF is a dangerous city. That seems to be the main point of concern here.
Just because they're not emotionally equivalent doesn't mean that property crime isn't bad. SF has a massive issue regarding petty crime. It leads to a more dangerous city overall.
Let's just let the homeless and the mentally deranged do whatever they want in SF. That's definitely a good way to run a modern city. Better than hurting their feelings! /s
Seriously what sort of weird ideological rant are you on in this thread? You have some really bizarre thinking regarding this issue.
Go find me a city that has people that are super happy and nice to each other and also has a high murder rate. Wait, I bet you can't.
Talking about the petty crime and the "vibe" is absolutely on topic for this, because that sort of laissez-faire attitude leads to murders like the one we're discussing.
It's a pit of right-wing extremism and some of the most fawning sycophancy I've ever seen.
I'm so glad that NPR is leaving Twitter. Many more will come. The world will be a better place when that cesspool is no longer bubbling.
Truly amazing how Conservatives always claim bias instead of stopping and thinking "Are we the assholes?"
