Your problem really only arises if someone is using the AI to stand in for them at the meeting vs. use it to take notes.
Both you and the rest of the world would be better off not worrying about/trying to stop other people from doing things that don't harm anyone else.
Not as a percentage of their income, especially when all "taxes" (anything the government charges for) are taken into account.
For the people saying that it is a protected right, then how come you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater when there isn't a fire?
I'm not trying to argue one side or the other - because I don't have a good answer. But it's not as one sided as some people make it out to be - free speech isn't totally free.
"a theory is a well-substantiated explanation of the natural world that is based on the scientific method and uses facts, hypotheses, and laws"
Because it's not theorizing, it's wishful thinking. And for some reason it almost always leads to people telling other people how to live their lives based on the "thing that's bigger than our brain" (e.g. god, because that's what you're all trying to imply). That's why it's dangerous.
Frontier bought them out and they could not keep DSL working at all. Problem after problem that they couldn't fix. So we switched to Comcast - that's how bad Frontier was.
Now we use Metronet and I'm waiting for that to get completely enshitified since they were purchased by TMobile or someone like that. I hope i3 is available in our area, I'm guessing if it's not, they'll be moving in as Metronet goes to shit.
That's interesting, if you ask me: "are you in a leftist bubble" - I would answer "probably a little." But I've NEVER seen any science denialism, so I guess I'm not?
What kind of denialism are you talking about wrt leftists?
On the case of US-IL, the problem is that there's no competition (after 3 YEARS), because of the obvious corruption in the process from the beginning. But I wholly expected this considering how Illinois politics works. I live in a central Illinois college town (2 full Universities) and we have 2 dispensaries, both owned by the same company. A comparable city in Colorado, Boulder has 8.
Personally I feel that the "rest of society" is getting way too little money vs. us getting way too much (opinion based on the fact that profits/productivity have outgrown salaries for too long).
Remember when the person who created homebrew couldn't get a job at google. That person created software used by a lot of people. He saw something that "needed fixing" and he fixed it. He fixed it so well a bunch of other people started using his fix. That's a wonderful engineer. Created a project used (and loved?) by many people. That's the kind of person you want helping to create products at your company.
Google puts so much emphasis on (coding) skills that aren't needed for the majority of the work done, and doesn't emphasize selecting for the ability to create things that people want to use. I also find the coding skills selection kind of amusing since they had to create a simplified programming language (Go) because so many of their 'leet coding new graduates couldn't handle C++ correctly. Perhaps being able to 'leet code in your sleep doesn't really make you a "wonderful" engineer either.
