In the case of Washington Post it just has a "position: fixed" style on the <body> element. That's usually the case with most of these scroll locking sites, one of the root parent elements will have some CSS style that you can click off.

When it comes up '@apply' I don't really it as an improvement even over vanilla CSS.

Seems like tt that point you're basically learning an entirely new syntax just to save time on typing a few characters.

This sounds like a ditch digger trembling in fear upon seeing an excavator.

I generated over 30k, maybe 40k images since stable diffusion 1.4 model went public 2 weeks ago. Most of it is just endless exploring and generating a lot of nonsense but I got some prompts that generate consistently good results. 2000 decent quality images per day would be quite easy, even with my humble rtx 2070s GPU.

Yes, that tiger is shit. Here are 35 tiger stencils I generated over a few minutes with Stable Diffusion on my PC with a humble RTX 2070s gpu: https://i.imgur.com/y9oCZIz.jpg

I could run pretty much any of these through adobe illustrators auto trace and end up with an amazing vector image.

I could also leave it generating these for an hour and I'd have over 1000 results to choose from.

Did you get a chance to watch "Strange New Worlds" ? It's some of the best trek to come out in ages, feels a lot closer to the roots.

Sounds interesting. Got a picture or something ?

Interesting, I do the opposite and add "reddit" to most of my searches.

Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer. Pay once, own forever.

What do you use instead of gmail ?

Good video, thanks. Makes me feel like I'm going in the right direction with this stack as a front-end guy.

What's GPT-3 for ?

Would it really affect battery consumption in any meaningful way ?

https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/ A whole sub dedicated to making firefox look however you want it to. You can edit the entire browser with css like a website.

You vote with your money. I went through a ton of "gamer" headphones in my teens, all of them meeting their doom because of the crappy cables. Then spent a bit more on ones with a replaceable cable that those lasted until the plastic broke. Then I spent decent money on some sennheisers and they've been going strong for like 6 years with so signs of slowing down, too bad they sold off their consumer product division not that long ago.

Looks like a "reverse batman signal" to me.

Agreed. Inter is one of my favorites to use on web stuff.

That's a big waste of the caps lock key. I use it as a modifier key for all kinds of frequently used macros. It's very easy to press two key combos with left hand alone like capslock+q or capslock+space, etc.
