My coworking space is a century old hardware distribution building in Birmingham, AL. It's about a 1-2 miles away from the predominantly African American neighborhood that was constantly bombed in the 50s.
I was told the FBI searched the building a few decades ago in the hopes of finding the rifle used in MLK's assassination.
Birmingham was a wild town for many years!
Their only hope is that the chat interfaces incorporate conversational ads.
The web is going to seem much smaller than it does now.
My step father passed away in 2018. My mother was grieving and isolated during COVID and turned to match.com.
She was scammed out of a lot of money. It still blows my mind how much money she gave away.
But the more I consider her situation, the more I realize match.com doesn’t have the correct incentives to pursue and destroy spam accounts.
We’re no longer in the “they’re being auctioned off as NFTs soon” phase of digitized historical documents.
What is the author suggesting?
It was the correct chess move given the current board.
It’s not very congruent to what they’re known for.
Did you ever deal with any of the paranoia?
I wouldn't be surprised if he went on an adderall bender that he never recovered from. Adderall and rabbit hole topics without a resolution (societal change) are not a good mix.
I wouldn't be surprised if he went into psychosis after losing a lot of sleep and never really got back to stability.
Adderall and a passion rabbit-hole like societal change are a dangerous combination. The more deep you dive, the more disinterested people become with you, and the more disconnected you become with other people.

IMO, the smoking gun here is their partner ingesting and analyzing the voice data.
