I recently tried turning the PocketCasts webplayer into an app on chrome and while it worked well, it had a major flaw. I'm stuck at my computer! If I wanted to get a cup of water, check the mail, put clothes in the dryer, whatever, I would have to pause the podcast, or leave it on and lose part of the story. This is fine when I had radio, since I can dip in and out and it doesn't matter much. But if I'm listening to something with a deep plot like Serial or that Halo thing, I don't want to miss a thing.

I don't know that people missed it, or we're still suspicious of "one UI framework to rule them all"...

A lot of the complaints seem like nice-to-haves.

As in, it would be nice to have a better build system, but if you work in Android Studio, you don't need to know what gradle is. (Like visual studio devs not knowing much about msbuild.

It would be nice to have a less verbose language than Java, but the IDE is starting to do a lot of this syntactic sugar work anyway.

This is wrong. The EAD is just the Employment Authorization Document. It just says you're allowed to work and you SHOULD have it before the OPT.
