Thank you for the kind words! We are glad that you like it. On the regular basis, we add more elements like datatables, select2 etc. in the PRO versions of the products that we develop :D

The original PSD/Sketch version of the UI Kit was built having the Orange as the primary background image: https://www.invisionapp.com/now Since that is not the most usable case for a website, we made also the white background version. We just wanted to show to the users that it is very easy to go between the states and all the elements are working fine on white/orange background. Makes sense now?

We will fix that, it seems the issue is from flexbox on iPhone.

Thank you for the feedback. It makes sense the points that you have. Since we are constantly improving the product based on the customers feedback we will make these changes in the next v1.1.0 update.

There are 2 ways of working with Bootstrap. 1: the one that you specified where you change the variables directly in LESS/SASS (BS4). You need to know LESS/SASS for those changes. And 2: the one where you don't know LESS/SASS/CSS and you just want a different design for the default bootstrap. You download a UI Kit that has a new design and it is also containing new elements/example pages. Using the UI Kit/Theme/Template, you don't have to dig deeper into the variables if you don't want or you don't know how to do that. You just start to work with the backend and you are covered on the front end. Now the reason for us, here I'm talking just about our company, don't know why other do it in this way or another way, we want to overwrite the bootstrap and keep bootstrap as a separate file so we can easily migrate from v3.3.0 to v3.3.5 or from v3.3.5 to v4 alpha 4,5,6 etc, without doing major changes in our UI Kit. Makes sense?

Thank you for the feedback, we will see what we can improve. Most of the rules were followed from the original UI Kit but on web it seems we should do some minor changes.

Congrats for the awesome journey! A lot of useful insights that we will use for our startup too, answering on Stack Overflow is a thing that I didn't think about till now. Thank you for reading it. We used to be a consulting agency, then when our side project (creative-tim) started to generate enough to pay our office and salaries for 3 persons we switched to it and then it was growing so we could get more people onboard.

It is missing from the cost because we use a payment processor (Avangate) who is taking care of all our payments and also the affiliates commissions + European VAT and other taxes, what we have there in revenue is our net revenue after we pay all the VAT, affiliates and commissions of our payment vendor. So the Gross revenue is bigger than 17k/month, around 20-21k/month.

In the beginning, we started to talk with different bloggers or website owners that were sharing content for our audience, then with github repos' owners in order to get some of our affiliates, then we created a dedicated page on our website where we receive affiliates requests.

Glad that you like it! In Romania, the minimum monthly wage is 250$, then programmers start with 400$/month. Depending on experience and what they do inside a company they can grow to 2-3k/month in a couple of years. We are growing the salaries according to the experience and the position inside the company too. 100% of our employees started with 0 experience because it was their first job. Everything was learned inside our company.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. We have over 1 million users who checked our resources, 97.000+ web developers are using them in 150.000+ projects and this is the first time when somebody is not happy with our licensing options. We will see what we can do in this area.

It will be a standalone product, but It will have all the components that are in the Material Kit. So you will use Material Kit when you create the Presentation page or landing page of your product and then on the admin part you will use Material Dashboard. They will have the same design line so there will be consistency in the overall design of your web app.

You can start developing with Material Kit, then when we release the Dashboard you just change the CSS with the new one and also get the new Structure of the page (Sidebar + Main Area).

Yes, you're right, the legal stuff sucks. We wanted to make it as simple as possible and not have 100 pages terms and conditions. We will try to make that more clear so people can understand that if they get this product for Free can be used by how many devs they have, in how many products they want.

Our business is to create good looking products that speed-up the development for web developers and not to go after people who use our products without a license. Probably there are 1000 people every day who just "View Source" of the page and get the product. We cannot and don't want to focus on those people :D

Yes, you can do that whenever you want

At this moment we are working on Material Dashboard. It will come in the next weeks and it will be for Free having all the basic elements that you need to create a Dashboard (tables, charts, maps, forms etc). Then there will also be a Premium version for that with more components and customization. But the Free version will be enough for most of the cases.

That is the license that we give to our users. As an overview, you can use this product for your personal projects, startups or for a client. What you cannot do is to get this product and resell it/post it anywhere as your own created product. This is what we want to protect. That's it.
