atuladhar··on Ask HN: How to learn Javascript and HTML for devs coming from C++/Java/Python?
I'd add ExtJS (http://www.sencha.com/products/js/) to that list. It's a got a very larget widget library, an active community and provides adapters to make it easy to work at the same time with other libraries. Plus, some of the new libraries Sencha (the company behind ExtJS) is coming up with to develop JavaScript apps on Touch devices look very promising.

Really sorry to nitpick, but this one irks me to no end.

i.e., from Latin id est, means "that is" or "namely." e.g., from Latin exempli gratia, means "for example."

Looks pretty good. Are there any plans to expand this beyond Python?
atuladhar··on Beg the question
This error has always bothered me and I don't really know why. I was reminded of the site when I noticed it on Nathan Marz's latest blog post (discussed at http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1650051).
atuladhar··on Paul Graham and "It turns out"
The following comment on the blog cracked me up, mainly because of how true it is.

There are used copies available on Amazon (and elsewhere too, I'm sure) for about $40. Recycle, guys!

Speaking of content management systems used by colleges, the college I went also rolled out its own: https://apps.carleton.edu/opensource/reason/ I believe it's being used by some colleges in the Midwest.

atuladhar··on The Graphing Calculator Story - a developer who refused to leave
Like many others have said, an oldie but a goodie. When I was TAing the Intro to CS class in college, I sent this out to the class as "extra reading" though it was only marginally related to what the professor was talking about (pair programming, I think). It was such a great story that I couldn't pass up the opportunity for people to read about how cool and passionate programmers can be.
atuladhar··on Ask HN: Please review my pet project - Ping Brigade
Very nice interface.

On the bottom of the results page, it says "Need a better server? Get one at Ping Control." but the "Ping Control" link appears to be broken.
