Orr you could buy a domain, and use a catch all email rule and then use an unique rmail address per site. Like mybank@mydomain, yourepamsite@mydomain ect.. I've never had any security problems.

By the time you catch somebody with stupid thoughts they might have already shared them, everyone should go through regular education screening.

I've worked for 5 companies and 3 of them had this behavior. Would get 5/5 on reviews, saved company hundreds of thousands, delivered a flagship multi million dollar in revenue product. Ask for more then 10k and was told to get an offer elsewhere and they would match. Got another job at 30k+ told them to screw off, if I have to apply and go get a job offer to prove my "worth" then I'm just going to go work for another company. Companies have a bad habit of negotiating for negotiating rather then paying for worth. It's because it's hard to track worth and easier just to always bottom out, that and much of non tech centered world still operates like that across the board.

If the market is going to give him that rate (assuming he can adequately perform the new job) that is his market value..

wellllllllll when you make a website as a joke you can choose which if any analytics solution you want. And deal with the critics that use analytic blockers to complain about your analytics solution.

The site collected 10k visits over 3 days from around the world.

need is a strong word. Do I need the entire site - no. The mentality was more like "oh haha joke site?.... I wonder how many people are actually looking at the site and from where.. man I wonder if there is a solution for that... oh right google analytics."

ashtonian··on How much will the meltdown patches cost the industry in electricity?
I thought it was more like 20-30% for specific applications, mostly database stuff.
ashtonian··on NoT: Taking the ‘Internet’ Out of IoT
Disclaimer: I work for an IoT company and our big solution to this and many others is LoRaWAN. Essentially super cheap low power data transmission network that is in the process of being rolled out as an infrastructure component. Companies like Comcast have made large pledges to provide huge, cheap nationwide coverage in the coming years. The cost of doing that is the LoRaWAN protocol is very low bandwidth but thats pretty good for IoT when most of the time you just need to transfer state.

Also I think LoRaWan networks wouldn't have to necessarily rely on the internet which is the original intent of the article. I think it could be possible to be much more localized like in your house, but right now its early stages and all of the tech i've seen is meant to provide much larger networks.
