I could have easily deleted the previous post, and do a Show HN again, but I didn't because that'd be spamming. Please understand that HN is a community where people can discuss anything related to tech. This post doesn't violate any HN rules
A lot of founders who are looking to sell their businesses can't estimate what their company is worth, mainly because they are too emotionally invested in the project. A good way to see what's a fair price in your case would be to let the market decide it. I made Soochi [1] so founders who are interested in selling their business can see how much can they get for their business, as well as find the right seller i.e. someone who can actually take the business forward. Let me know if you'd like to list your business on our site? We're running a $30 off promotion right now!
I'm building a side-project, where users will be able to list their domains for sale. What do you think I should charge as the listing price?
Umm, how? You have a web app, you provide people with an admin dashboard to interact with the messaging apps. Am I missing something here?
As far as feedback goes: - I'd work on the UI a bit more (sorry, can't help but see it as a designer) - Your search page (from the navbar) throws an error. - I don't really see the point of user-registration (it's not there yet, but the options are visible)
And a few other UX for marketing improvements. It's a good site and you seem like you have got it covered. Best of luck. I'll check it whenever I can. If you need any help with front-end dev, let me know (shameless, I know but I'm actually good)
I'm from India, but can converse in both English and German, if that helps.
If all you need is a blog, might I suggest Tumblr? They (as long as I remember) don't charge you a thing. You won't get an SSL certificate though.
We are targeting startups only at the moment, but we do have plans to partner with all kinds of brands.
