What do you mean "old school?". I am from the other side of the planet than the US and i am statistically flooded with stories of the problem of under funding women, with discrimination based on sex and with the pregnancy issue as a roadblock to career for women. how can a manager in a VC have an "old school" opinion in 2016? these days you either have one opinion or the other, there is nothing "new school" in realizing that women are less funded because their biologic life is seen as a liability by the males of the species who have all the money. Jesus!! Old school??
Your wife? You are someone who should be smart enough to predict success and you bet other people's money but you know so little about a woman's determination that your best answer is by proxying to your nearest women.
This is like me having a billion dollars explaining that i believe rockets are not funded as easily as dating apps because I am old school and i think all physicists are nerdy introverts and they'll never be good at running a business because they rather stay and read science fiction books all day long, and i know that because my physicist cousin who is also a drunk is exactly like that.
And quotas? Who is even talking about quotas? Amazing!
I like how Ev compares the Internet with TV, radio or cars as an industry which will devolve into a slow behemoth entrenched in legacy corporations.
But i believe we could learn and prevent a systemic problem before it happens, had we any interest in doing so :)
One thing I did want was for this framework to be as friendly as possible to designers and junior frontend-ers and I fear xpath is not easy to grasp ...

Perhaps i push the snob alarm in some but i do not mean it like this. The problem i am talking about is that we _should_ have higher education for being a programmer. The reason to skip it now is because their academic rhythm and notions are late and incomplete not because programming is not school worthy.
I really think that, at least for serious programmers and developers, this trade business is a bad thing.
It is not a problem with mojolicious at all. Its a nice helper that should be carefully used.
I have worked with startups since year 2001 and have been involved both directly - as in putting my ass(ets) on the line - and indirectly as a team member in other people's startups. In all this time obsessing over tactics, strategy, recipes, advice of the ones that made it and so on, "obsessing" in general killed half of the experience.
I don't like this poker metaphor. It involves rooms full of smoke and sleep deprivation. It involves poker faces and bluffing strategies. It also involves obsession. All these make starting your own thing less fun than sticking with the cubicle you had before, and i think this hurts the point of doing it anyway.
I believe a better metaphor about startup success is the lottery simply because it is way more random than any strategy can defeat.
I use this system for about 4 years and am still delighted on how easy it comes to me. In brief:
- Split up your style sheet according to rule types.
- There are three main rule types that help when split: grid, decorations and fonts.
