The same. I love gitlab ci/cd.

I'm an Iranian living in the US and I have family in Iran. The internet is completely shut off for two weeks and international phone calling also doesn't work. All I can do is pray at this point.

Agreed. I really like TypeScript type system. I wish there was a language that used .NET but used TypeScript syntax/semantics. Maybe deno?

Microsoft employee here. I really appreciate CTOs who are technical. They understand certain challenges of delivering products and they are often more sympathetic of last-minute issues. But Microsoft is a different company than maybe startups or smaller companies. So, I am not really sure.

C# is a good option.

F# if you want functional C#.

Scala if you are adventurous.

I am an Iranian and I am with you. I have seen what this tyrannical government is capable of. We as Iranian living abroad 1) can sent letter to our representative to make sure we cut the funding to this government 2) keep protesting and keep the momentum going. They can't win.

It means: 1) publicly condemn the government 2) recognize that this government doesn't represent the people of Iran 3) don't give money to this government.

Iranian government has a history of bloody crackdown. Enough is enough. There has been no free and fair election in the past decades so this government doesn't represent the people. I am worried this tyrannical government succeeds in putting down this movement and then the western governments sign another nuclear treaty which means sanction relief and more money for the regime that doesn't represent the people. The west should recognize that this government is a dictatorship and is not afraid of using any means including live bullets to put down protests.

Agreed. People are just tired.

I hope so. I have lived more of my life in the US than in Iran and I hope to go back and visit one day.

Wow. Such a story. Thank you so much for sharing.

why is it called Jakarta?

This protest is very different from previous protests. Look it up. Women in Iran are just tired of being oppressed and their movement is an embodiment of feminism. I'm an Iranian and unfortunately this protest hasn't received world wide attention in the news. This is a first time women taking the lead in protesting against this tyrannical regime.

As a Microsoft employee I can say I hate teams. It's just terrible. The search is bad. Formatting code in the message is bad. It bloated. I just need a messaging app. Like lite version of teams.

Their mouses are on sale, highly recommend them: https://www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=12

Yes. But I didn't like working in the office and I am introvert. I dislike taking public transportation to work. They were always late. On the other hand, I work late night talking to India teams. Overall, I enjoy working from home and the freedom that comes with it.

I switched to pixel 6 from pixel 4 and it was buggy to the point that I had to give away my pixel 6. Then I bought new still in box pixel 3 and I'm happy again.

As an avid movie enthusiast and IMDb user this concerns me. I have been using IMDb for years writing my reviews and reading other people's opinions not just for high budget movies but also for smaller self funded movies. This is not good for their independence and honesty.

After 7 years ... not yet.

Agreed. I started using blazor webassembly and I love it. It enables logic sharing between backend and frontend.

Didn't Siri Lanka do the same and it caused food shortage/crisis?

I work at Microsoft and I can confirm this.

I work at Microsoft and I don't like Teams. However, I recently checked out Slack to chat with old coworkers and I realized Slack dropped ability to control the desktop remotely.

Also, unrelated. Teams on Ubuntu (for personal use) kicks me out after 12 hours and I need to sign in again. I don't know why.
