Routers can have attached storage, why can't we backup our phones to them instead of iCloud (instead of workarounds like Nextcloud)? Why can't they directly provide location information over a standard protocol, thus potentially avoiding a request to a cloud service?
So I never worked with Novell, but I remember reading somewhere that child objects didn't contain a full ACL, so on every object load the FS tree would be walked and each parent ACL checked? Is that the case? So in direct contrast to the ntSecurityDescriptor storing the entire ACL on every object.
If so, with SSDs now, I can't see it being a massive performance problem nowadays no? I do certainly dislike sitting at the Windows ACL screen for 20 minutes while it goes through recursively to update child ACLs.
The point is I believe, the payment can be settled outside of the mastercard network, but mastercard only allows their service to perform the mapping between token and PAN, and force settlement to happen over the mastercard network. The idea here is that the token can be taken by another card network, mapped to the real PAN, and then settlement happens between the issuing bank and merchant over the other network.
I.e. instead of acquirer <-> mastercard <-> issuer it becomes acquirer <-> X-Network <-> issuer, even though Mastercard was used to create the initial link between device and bank account.

A simple Google search refutes this. Ok, if you count running some cmd magic as meaning they don't require you to have a Microsoft account, we're never going to agree. For Joe Bloggs, a Microsoft account is required and there is no way around it.
It opportunistically uses DTLS over UDP where it can, but falls back to plain TLS over TCP where not. And I mean real TLS, not the sort-of-TLS that OpenVPN uses.
Your first part doesn't really go with the second.
I agree, China is very isolationist. But that's precisely why I'm not concerned about this "influence". They're absolutely not interested in converting other countries to their system, they will work with anyone who they can do business with.
I can only tell you, if you don't deeply understand what cases do, when they are used, and what other languages do without them, you will always struggle. So maybe worth reading up on english-language articles, books, wikipedia (not necessarily about Russian, maybe even German), to understand more about them.
And with Firefox, it would make the "Restore all tabs on open" not work, since clicking X didn't close the app, and thus pressing Firefox again would just create a new empty window. For it to work, I had to not use the red button, but cmd + q or the menu bar.
