off topic, but gosh, Bloomberg you have the worst charts I have ever seen on the web!

The first chart in the article is particularly bad: there are no labels! It maps two data sources (unlabelled other than one being red and the other blue!). The axis are.. unlabelled. I can infer that the horizontal axis is time (from the dates underneath), but the vertical axis is just some monotonically increasing number (I assume it's "price", but just from context offered by the article, I don't know if it's in dollars or cents or euros)

I hit this bug yesterday on my laptop (16GB of RAM / 1GB of swap) with 2 instances of Firefox (about 60 tabs), Slack, Insomnia (Electron-based Postman clone) and a couple of `node` processes watching and transpiling.. stuff. `kswapd0` was running at 100% CPU, I guess trying to free up some RAM by moving things to swap (the swap partition was full by this point). Luckily I managed to recover the system by switching to another tty and killing kswapd0 and the node instances.

Sometimes instructing the kernel to clear its caches helps: `echo 1 | sudo tee /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches` [1]

LinkedIn is the worst. Starting a trial through the mobile app requires only a couple of clicks. Trying to cancel that trial? Haha! Good luck! There's no way to do it through the mobile app. I had to open the website, login there as well, go to the help section, search for "cancel" and click on the help article. At this point I was greeted by "this feature is not supported on mobile devices" so I had Firefox request the desktop version in order to view the page.

So what are you (the ESLint team) going to do to ensure this is not going to happen again in the future?

At the very least you should require that all ESLint members with rights to publish ESLint packages have 2FA enabled on their npm account.

At what point does this become a problem? They're using the naturally cool sea water to regulate the temperature in the container, but that heat needs to go somewhere... it heats the water. If this becomes a popular alternative to classic server farms, at what point does it start to increase the temperature of the sea? I know, the oceans are big, but so is our data.

I'm on 59.0.1 (64-bit) for Ubuntu Artful (from the official repos). This is quite an odd bug, thanks for the link (and the link from the sibling comment). I'll keep an eye on the bug reports :)

Installed it from the website, logged-in with my Firefox account and got redirected to allizom.org ("Mozilla" spelled backwards!) which has an untrusted certificate. Not a great first experience :(

I've been using Soverin for almost two years now https://soverin.net/. I chose them because of the their privacy focus and the fact that at the time I was looking for a bare-bones email service.

For the most part it works well, the only (rare) problem I've had was with Soverin rejecting emails from my Google forwarding rule. I've encountered ~10 instances of this error in nearly two years so I'm not that concerned about it.

They use RoundCube for the web interface, which I don't use. I prefer Thunderbird on the desktop and use the Gmail app on my phone.

It is, but the point of the project wasn't to create yet-another-markdown-editor, it was so I could play around with WebRTC and get two browsers talking to each other directly. I used Markdown just so documents wouldn't be plain text.
