alepper··on Introducing Private Networking
There's a recent, more promising reply, though:

"Once the initial rollout of [private networking to] the first region is finished we'll be moving to get IPv6 enabled in our NY2 region first and are targeting an October ETA for the first public beta!"

alepper··on The Temple Operating System
Virtual memory addresses equal to their mappings in physical memory.
alepper··on Use RF noise from VGA DAC to drive VHF TV
No code here, but other technical details and some photos of what's possible in this paper http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ih98-tempest.pdf - possibly the one you were thinking of in your parallel comment.
alepper··on KORE – A fast SPDY-capable webserver for web development in C
Looks to have returned. (https://kore.io for those coming now that the top link has changed.) Also see: https://github.com/jorisvink/kore/commit/e1183e22a6a7a970213...
alepper··on Show HN: Automatic weekly meal planner, also plans your leftovers
This is great, and really impressive. There's a couple minor things I'm looking for, in addition to all the things I looked for and found:

- A 'regenerate all meals' button. Having generated, but then tweaked the meal options for every day, it seems I have to load & regenerate each day in turn?

- Ability to customize frequency of automatic emails. I see that I can manually email a calendar range's plan, but I do most of my grocery shopping online, which incurs a delivery charge (and needs me to hang around for that delivery). I'd prefer to book up a couple weeks in advance, even if it means figuring out what I'll do about perishables.

alepper··on Why I am building a product with a tiny market
Anecdotal confirmation: I probably wouldn't have clicked through (or found it) if the only link was the blog image - despite the first thing I did being to look for the link to the product. (Which is great, and might replace my current 'go-to' for this!)
alepper··on ISP Advertisement Injection - CMA Communications
Not to be needlessly contrarian, but this doesn't appear to be the case - at least for me, for any of the domains I tried:

>nslookup notarealdomainthatshouldresolve.co.uk Server: cache1.service.virginmedia.net Address: 194.168.4.100

* cache1.service.virginmedia.net can't find notarealdomainthatshouldresolve.co.uk: Non-existent domain

alepper··on ISP Advertisement Injection - CMA Communications
FWIW, I haven't noticed this on any of BT, Sky or Virgin.
alepper··on Ask HN: how do you demo apps running on an actual phone in presentations?
Visualizers (seemingly aka document cameras) have been the tool used in any presentations of this type that I've seen. Portable versions appear to exist.
alepper··on tmux 1.8 Released
Two things I missed from screen last I tried tmux: an equivalent of 'screen -xRR' and an orthogonality between terminals and windows so that distinct terminals connected to one session can display different windows. Especially the latter of these is integral to my workflow.
alepper··on A new Light Table experience
Looks like Ctrl+Enter and Ctrl+Shift+Enter start to work after saving the file with a recognised extension. You'll have to use the mouse, as pressing Enter cancels, despite the 'Save' button being highlighted as if it were the default.

Unfortunately, even just (defn id [x] x) gets me "java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to resolve symbol: defn".
