ale_jacques··on Ask HN: Experiences w “JS-free” front ends? (Hotwire, Unpoly, Inertia.js, htmlx)
I've built a small project management system (as I was in need of a custom one) with Unpoly as a proof of concept. And, oh boy, it was easy and fast.

I have a previous experience with VueJS and Django REST Framework. It is nice but it's a whole other kind of work. Too many build tools, CIs, State Management hell...

I'll, if I can, keep developing with the new-new stuff (Unpoly and htmx). Probably won't be 100% of the time since it's far for mainstream technologies.

ale_jacques··on Ask HN: Do we need JavaScript web frameworks?
There are some alternatives: - https://htmx.org - https://unpoly.com

And, as mentioned by @throwaway888abc, there's also https://hotwired.dev/

ale_jacques··on Ask HN: How to advice a HW startup with building a SaaS product?
Numbers. Those people understand numbers. "Prove them wrong" by creating a PoC on what your expectations are versus what they think they are going to get with their theories.
ale_jacques··on Ask HN: Front end web app development tools for back end engineer
Also, take a look at HTMX (https://htmx.org).
ale_jacques··on Ask HN: What are the best open-source back ends?
With all those things: - Django (Python) - Laravel (PHP) - Rails (Ruby) - SpringBoot (Java)
ale_jacques··on Ask HN: Secure by Default Web Framework?
You can try some of them. It all depends on your language of chopice proficiency. There's no such OOTB solution but some frameworks have good options. Django (Python), Laravel (PHP) and Spring Boot (Java) are some options. For enterprise level security (you'd still have to configure some of it by yourself) I would d go with Spring Boot and its Spring Security module (https://spring.io/projects/spring-security).
ale_jacques··on Ask HN: How should a person prioritize learning for IDE skills and components?
Use it, and they will come...
