I've had 6+ since release and I can honestly say I've not had a single problem with it. I am heavy user and iOS developer myself. So yeah ... no idea how you get so many supposed issues.

that is a matter of opinion - I find gnome to be incredibly ugly and unpolished. Large margins, padding issues, often badly rendered fonts (fuzzy, weird aliasing) just to name the few.

I think the real reason in difference in costs is that in India salaries are much lower and profits expected by 3rd party providers are much smaller.

So building and engineering is way cheaper. How about quality?

this may sound bumb, but ... with all the designy ui and pristine graphics and all... after staring at it for 10 seconds I still have no idea what is this all about. Everything is way too spaced out and I need to dig deep. For most users these days means they simply leave your site.
