agentifysh··on Write some software, give it away for free
i do it here https://github.com/agentify-sh/

but have no idea how to get any compensation

i just do it because i use these tools and like to share it

agentifysh··on Are the costs of AI agents also rising exponentially? (2025)
Until there is some drastic new hardware, we are going to see a similar situation to proof of work, where a small group hordes the hardware and can collude on prices.

Difference is that the current prices have a lot of subsidies from OPM

Once the narrative changes to something more realistic, I can see prices increase across the board, I mean forget $200/month for codex pro, expect $1000/month or something similar.

So its a race between new supply of hardware with new paradigm shifts that can hit market vs tide going out in the financial markets.

agentifysh··on Middle schooler finds coin from Troy in Berlin
so how much is this coin worth ?
agentifysh··on Codex for almost everything
You didn't seem to like competition or market forces pricing things. Just a suggestion.
agentifysh··on Cloudflare Email Service
so I have to ask, what is the pricing? This solves a major annoyance of having to use Resend. I just want to be able to send some confirmation emails but I have to pay extra for each domain I add. I am ready to migrate to Cloudflare Email Service if the pricing is competitive.

It's next to impossible to get approved on Amazon SES now vs 10 years ago. I don't know why its so ridiculous difficult to use it for transactional verificaiton emails.

I see AWS screwing up and Cloudflare replacing it.

agentifysh··on Android CLI: Build Android apps 3x faster using any agent
Flutter CLI is what we really need but this is a welcome addition.
agentifysh··on Official Clojure Documentary page with Video, Shownotes, and Links
It definitely is more "mainstream" than others but I just don't see the same level of attention and enthusiasm around it anymore. I'm sure it is still being used in many places but like Elixir, hiring remains on the tough end.
agentifysh··on US reputation hits 'depths not seen this century' – and 'may never recover'
"a lot of East Asians" if you exclude China and those on the far left end of the political spectrum, you have the rest who adore Japan.

Unfortunately the anti-Japanese folks are the loudest in the room and loves to manipulate online opinions that that is the mainstream consensus.

They don't pause to ask, who benefits from this manufactured crisis that is aimed at driving a wedge between Korea and Japan in particular, both close US allies.

agentifysh··on Codex for almost everything
What's the alternative, move to North Korea ?
agentifysh··on Qwen3.6-35B-A3B: Agentic coding power, now open to all
I think the hype around Qwen and even Gemma4 often floated for views/attention glosses over that these models have clear gaps behind what closed models offer.

In short, it has its uses but it would/should not be the main driver. Will it get better, I'm sure of it, but there is too much hype and exaggeration over open source models, for one the hardware simply isn't enough at a price point where we can run something that can seriously compete with today's closed models.

If we got something like GPT-5.4-xhigh that can run on some local hardware under 5k, that would be a major milestone.

agentifysh··on Official Clojure Documentary page with Video, Shownotes, and Links
As you demonstrated, AI is not needed to write slop, just because AI is involved doesn't make it slop. We are still very much in the control even if it is generation.
agentifysh··on Official Clojure Documentary page with Video, Shownotes, and Links
is clojure still relevant in the post agentic coding reality that opens up pretty much all esoteric languages to everyone ?

back in the day used to use clojure to write a fintech app but not sure if it is still relevant has uses vs other langs that have emerged

agentifysh··on Cloudflare's AI Platform: an inference layer designed for agents
excellent! please make sure to include rate limit details as well.
agentifysh··on Claude Opus 4.7
i think you are being needlessly paranoid here

openai doest offer affiliate marketing links

the reason you see lot of users switching to codex is for the dismal weekly usage you get from claude

what users care about is actual weekly usage , they dont care a model is a few points smarter , let us use the damn thing for actual work

only codex pro really offers that

agentifysh··on Claude Opus 4.7
Will they actually give you enough usage ? Biggest complaint is that codex offers way more weekly usage. Also this means GPT 5.5 release is imminent (I suspect thats what Elephant is on OR)

Sherlocking ramps up into IPO

Bunch of startups need to pivot today after this announcement including mine

agentifysh··on Open Source Isn't Dead
Pretty overreaching claim about another company's internal decisions and open source in general. There is a lot of incentive to stop open source these days.

One of which I am experiencing right now is somebody just copying my repo, not crediting me, didn't even try to change the README. It's pretty discouraging.

The other is security reasons, the premise that volunteers will report vulnerabilities really matter if you are big enough for small portion of people to dedicate themselves, for the most part people take open source tool use it and then forget about it, they only want stuff fixed.

Lastly, open source development kinda sucks so far. I'v been working on a few different tools and the amount of trolling and just bad faith actors I had to deal with is exhausting. On top of that there is a constant stream of people just demanding stuff to be fixed quickly.

agentifysh··on Sam Altman's home targeted in second attack
This is unacceptable and a growing issue in America, anti-AI has become just another focal point for the far end of the political spectrum to rally and ultimately radicalize violence.
agentifysh··on GPT‑5.3 Instant
seems like gemini 3 flash is still cheaper unless im reading that website wrong

from the benchmarks , not sure exactly what use cases 3.1 lite will be for

agentifysh··on Making Video Games in 2025 (without an engine)
been working on something in three.js and ended up building an editor inside it

its kinda insane how much i can get done with codex

half way through i realize i need a way to build levels and codex suggests you need a editor, here's the PRD following the safety harness and framework in your AGENTS.md and I come back to get coffee and its done....

also have a appreciation for how much game engines do for you, every step of the way I want to add a simple feature and realize we are not using a game engine so those have to built as well

agentifysh··on Motorola announces a partnership with GrapheneOS
very excited for this

agentifysh··on The United States and Israel have launched a major attack on Iran
Not necessarily I see these green handles that just seem to pop up out of nowhere and they always have characteristically triggering/cynical tone to them, which usually triggers some type of reaction

Could be that these are being farmed but at a state level it might be easier to outright purchase aged accounts

agentifysh··on Show HN: Xmloxide – an agent-made Rust replacement for libxml2
Ah, so the code doesn't need an AI label as long as you promise you thought really hard about it before copy-pasting.
agentifysh··on Show HN: Now I Get It – Translate scientific papers into interactive webpages
tried it but it said limit was hit
agentifysh··on Show HN: Xmloxide – an agent-made Rust replacement for libxml2
pretty sure you are replying to a bot seems like they make a new account just to leave short drive by comments

this is like the 8th green handle i've seen so far recently with similar style of comments I suspect is AI generated

agentifysh··on Show HN: Xmloxide – an agent-made Rust replacement for libxml2
and why should that be solved by "made by AI" being mandatory label when pretty much all of coding now involves it
agentifysh··on Show HN: Xmloxide – an agent-made Rust replacement for libxml2
lot of weird comments here getting upset AI was used but thanks for doing this

libxml2 is always one of those libraries that i used to have trouble with for different platforms

I think its great that more and more OSS projects get attention now with ai coding agents

agentifysh··on Show HN: Xmloxide – an agent-made Rust replacement for libxml2
what would be the point ? why should this be mandatory ?

none of your arguments make sense here

agentifysh··on Addressing Antigravity Bans and Reinstating Access
