I would question your assertion that modern states have 1,000+ solved problems. They have no unit testing, shoddy QA if any, etc. It's a bad analogy, imho. When they do generate a 'tweak' it is often not solving a problem, but generating more problems than it solves.
Immigration is just one aspect to this. I hope that blueseed is not just looking at this as a tech incubator, as I believe there are a number of complementary markets they could go after.
I could imagine a lot of high net-worth families in Asia being interested in this, if it's marketed properly (and the proper package of services is put together etc).
Another regulatory area that could be arbitraged nicely is the inefficient and irrational processes in the FDA approval programs. Take a little trip to Blueseed to get your stem cell injection (etc.).
would welcome any feedback on it...

don't let the false prophets of equilibrium theory and efficient market theory bend your ear too far ;)
if you get into looking for a job, there are a few books that list common questions for quant jobs also...
(You can also upload and expand zip files of other projs/code you may find, as well as copy public projects into new projects of your own.)
Hope this helps...
I do agree with others though that there should be more than 30 days notice on pricing. And it would be nice to have some guidance on pricing, given recent history...
well, on second thought, maybe not...
Refactoring is almost always preferable to throwing out all your code, imho.
We are big fans of using Dave McClure's Pirate Metrics model... building activation first, then retention, and then going for acquisition, etc.
The first version of CoderBuddy was very minimally-viable compared to where we're at today. It was enough to get something done and to use in workshops. Since then we've analyzed where the biggest bottlenecks are improving activation etc., along the lines of the Pirate Metrics model.
Hope this helps.
I've been able to reproduce problems with the new editor in my copy of Opera, but our classic editor is working fine for me. We'll investigate this more and see what we can do -- thanks for reporting it!
And yeah, we'd like to add more git support over time! ;)
Thanks,
- quick accessibility, nothing to download, install and configure (especially useful for folks who've been meaning to play w/ App Engine for a while but haven't gotten around to it, and also folks who are newer to web application programming in general -- something we've seen in tests with workshops)
- cloud backup
- easy accessibility of code from different machines
- collaboration with multiple developers (you can add developers to a project)
As we build out the application and start growing a community, there'll be more neat things going on with collaboration and more.
