oh, you want a "break my libraries" flag? :D
seriously, in theory lazy imports may be "transparent" for common use cases, but I've saw too many modules rely on the side effects of the importing, that I understand why they needed to make this a "double opt in" feature
I don't want to lose multiple hours debugging why something did go wrong because I am using three versions of numpy and seven of torch at the same time and there was a mixup
If I say an asseignment I expect the value to be "evaluated".
I could have grasped the expression in all the null values would have been replaced with new instances, but then it would have been too much invasive and magic to work, so - again - I understand why the designers night have been force to settle for the actual behaviour...
But maybe then the half-solution is not worth it
Chrome‑only demo
The interactive demo at the end currently works in Chrome only (due to SVG filters as backdrop‑filter).
You can still read the article and interact with the inline simulations in other browsers.
Dishonor on your WHOLE FAMILY! dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow...btw: have a look at how much disdain was reserved for systemd and its pletora of binary blobs + custom tools (e.g. the journal stuff) ... and that was basically forced upon from the distributions
You think of them as action, they're not.
Actions are for applications. You are reading a document.
They are metadata.
Think of them like "footnootes" of a paragraph, or references.
Remember, you're reading a document, not using an application.
in my day code + data was called a class :)
(yeah, yeah, I know closure and class may be viewed as the same thing, and I know the Qc Na koan)
Feature is what you want, and performance, and correctness, and robustness; not code
Older code is tested code, that is known to work, with known limitations and known performances
Some people care about how others address them, but don't care how to address other's names... and this is funny to me
> If you are poor you can't go anywhere or buy anything. You're not free if you're poor. If you are sick, you may be confined to a hospital bed or not feel good enough to do anything. If you are sick you're not free.
or, you know, you could avoid the problem in the first place and allow "even poors" to go somewhere or buy something... at least base items, and medicines...
this way they could afford dental costs, and you could spare the need to add fluoride in the water
yeah, there should be some rule about what user data can be collected and transparency about its usage...
wait, that's the GDPR! grin
Also, I don't have a c compiler installed.
