YeahThisIsMe··on The gay jailbreak technique (2025)
Do you actually believe that?
YeahThisIsMe··on The gay jailbreak technique (2025)
It's basically "pretend you're my grandma" again but this time she's gay.

It's all so incredibly stupid. I love it.

YeahThisIsMe··on Aspartame is not that bad? (2022)
Tasty food will be my downfall.
YeahThisIsMe··on Aspartame is not that bad? (2022)
What's wrong with it?
YeahThisIsMe··on Ultraviolet corona discharges on treetops during storms
What he explains sounds exactly like what you (or at least I) see when you close your eyes and then put pressure on them.
YeahThisIsMe··on End of "Chat Control": EU parliament stops mass surveillance
It's never going to stop. They'll keep trying until they get it because they're sick people.
YeahThisIsMe··on A Japanese glossary of chopsticks faux pas (2022)
But the populus sets the standards. If people decide not to follow a particular one anymore, it stops being the standard.
YeahThisIsMe··on Never buy a .online domain
Not just turn it on without their approval.
YeahThisIsMe··on Vitamin D and Omega-3 have a larger effect on depression than antidepressants
I had pretty much the same reaction after two days of taking it.

Took a while longer to get the dose right so that my anxiety also mostly disappeared, but the difference in quality of life it made for me is hard to put into words.

YeahThisIsMe··on Sergey Brin's Unretirement
That must be what it's like to have a job where you feel like you're doing something interesting and meaningful.
YeahThisIsMe··on James Moylan, engineer behind arrow signaling which side to refuel a car, dies

That's okay. I can just choose not to read the stuff I'm not interested in.
YeahThisIsMe··on EU Council Approves New "Chat Control" Mandate Pushing Mass Surveillance
Yes, there is. This shouldn't move forward at all, regardless of how many steps are involved and how small they are.
YeahThisIsMe··on How cops can get your private online data
I hope they like porn, because I do.
YeahThisIsMe··on Chat Control proposal fails again after public opposition
I hate how accurate this is.
YeahThisIsMe··on Chat Control proposal fails again after public opposition
The speed of communication has changed a little bit, but still, a hard "no" to the government reading everything I say.

Digital communication is more direct speech, including maybe whispering, than it is writing a letter.

YeahThisIsMe··on EVs are depreciating faster than gas-powered cars
Weird that this is presented as a problem for some reason.

They're objects that lose value when you use them. That's normal.

YeahThisIsMe··on Video game union workers rally against $55B private acquisition of EA
Companies don't have feelings.

And s company being able to fire anyone for any reason isn't even close to being comparable to an employee being "allowed" to leave the company for any reason.

What a wild comment.

YeahThisIsMe··on Esports scholarship at Deutsche Bahn (German railways)
No, public money is going into road infrastructure.

Rail is a lost cause in Germany.

YeahThisIsMe··on Ryanair flight landed at Manchester airport with six minutes of fuel left
I remember this stuff being a bigger story for a short moment x years ago, where low cost carriers (it might have been Ryanair then, too) routinely flew with unreasonably small amounts of "backup" fuel and had to declare emergencies in order to get on the ground safely.

I guess they're trying it again now that the whole thing had blown over.

YeahThisIsMe··on I made a public living room and the internet keeps putting weirder stuff in it
I'm just gonna assume that by the time I see this comment, it's already too late.
YeahThisIsMe··on Just let me select text
That's why NoScript is an absolute necessity to me, even if it takes some time and experience to figure out which script URLs to whitelist to get a usable site.
YeahThisIsMe··on Shipping 100 hardware units in under eight weeks
It's not their problem to get around.
YeahThisIsMe··on Meta’s live demo fails; “AI” recording plays before the actor takes the steps
So the live demo failed?
YeahThisIsMe··on Nvidia buys $5B in Intel
Why would anything that isn't Intel implode? And what's "everything"?
YeahThisIsMe··on Denmark close to wiping out cancer-causing HPV strains after vaccine roll-out
And I can't get the shot in Germany because I'm "too old" and just assumed to be infected with it already, anyway.

What a great system.

YeahThisIsMe··on Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage
Or one could just not be weird about it.
YeahThisIsMe··on EU court rules nuclear energy is clean energy
Your rates aren't doing insane shit because you don't have nuclear energy. Renewables are way way way cheaper.
YeahThisIsMe··on iPhone Air
That sounds like LG. Amazing camera and audio and I'm never buying one again.
