Xerox9213··on The Largest Greek Manuscript?
Even if that is true, how do you know if something is worthy of being read without reading it? Isn’t the ability to write it off as unworthy worth the time to read it?

A lot of woodworking is done in inches and fractions of inches. Doing joinery where you have to consider things like the kerf of the blade often requires many annoying additions and subtractions of power-of-two denominators. While adding 3/16 and 5/32 is trivial, trying to do that while focusing on making a good cut and taking accurate measurements can be distracting.

I haven’t tried this myself but I wonder if Jellyfin’s SyncPlay feature would work well for this. And as for adding YouTube videos, there are quite a few options, I would try Jdowloader. I’m not sure how it would work with your friend adding videos. Perhaps giving them access to a docker container Jdownloader instance with your Jellyfin directories mapped to it.

One of my favourite things about (desktop) Geogebra is its ability to export to tikz. Making complicated geometric shapes in a latex file can be done so easily with Geogebra. Perhaps not as elegant as Castel, but still quite nice.

Xerox9213··on Kagi finally let me lay Google Search to rest
https://help.kagi.com/kagi/features/website-info-personalize...

AFAIK the personalized results are not based on your search history, rather a personalized list of blocked, lowered, raised, or pinned domains. I think some people share their lists, not unlike PiHole.

Xerox9213··on Paperless-ngx – Open source document management system
Paperless uses tags and will auto tag based on previous scans. IME it works very well (as long as you have a decently sized library of tagged documents) and seldom do I have to add my own tags. It’s not perfect, though, and sometimes I have to go in and fix some of the tags.

Xerox9213··on Paris votes to ban rental e-scooters
I remember the first time I visited LA, seeing them piled up on sidewalks and blocking foot traffic was so bizarre. Not to mention people whizzing past me on sidewalks. It was very detrimental to the walking experience.

In general, the purpose of Bitcoin is not to get rich, but to have a currency that is universally accepted and not tied to a political party’s fiscal decisions.

I imagine this is what Teams forwards you to when it sees FF Nightly as your browser.
