Also is it possible to let the air pass through into one direction only? I think strategically placing incoming/outgoing air-pass through windows, could make a decent air-flow (+heating) system.

What's really sad is that, if all those phone numbers were already public, I guess nobody would have cared to create something like SnapChat in the first place..
For us it was really really good that he rejected the offer! Because otherwise we would see the trade market crash $3bn, guess who would have to pay loss.. we..
well, if he saw that coming, which I doubt, he would be a hero.
"It is an advertising-based business. Twitter also sells data. It will generate about $583 million this year. Twitter is expected to generate a little less than $1 billion in 2014, according to eMarketer.
Most of Twitter's revenue comes from three types of ads, although it plans to have a more robust advertising offering next year."
Aha!
hmm, what do you mean and to which platform?
I was thinking of enterprise users and companies who mostly start with a cheap cms, then add features here and there then an app, then an intranet thingy and at the end you have a spaghetti architecture, because everything has it's own front-end without a unifying API. It's rare that developers write their own solutions, you can say, hey nobody would do that, but the reality is far from that. Most devs simply use what's there and try to integrate different projects "by their own way".
I found some things that can be done better at prismic.io and think there is some wasted potential there.
- It requires writing your own controller that needs to implement caching or you have a 500ms delay for API requests
- No multilanguage from the beginning (gotta bake your own solution, that's not so fun)
- Slugs for objects in collections are ugly (see blog example)
Here are all REST API based "CMS", unfortunately, none of them is actually perfect. http://www.programmableweb.com/apitag/CMS?protocol=REST
I looked at http://prismic.io, but I haven't found anything that's opensource and comes close to it. Do you know something like that?
But yeah TinyMCE is DEAD.
I think HN is the community that most loudly would agree with new != better but that's exactly what we do wrong. Holy cow, I can't explain how much value we have at our disposal that we throw away + pay to keep it away comfortably. New businesses don't integrate old people, because they don't really know how to make value out of them. That's a simple equation, if you see it this way. It's not because old people cannot contribute to the development of IT, Startups and the Hacker scene. We just have no business model, not even a concept that considers these elder men and women.
Not it's not related to that. From what I understand, it transmits the force directly, not using a physical "robot-hand", but pressure I think. Maybe I was fooled, because as miahi said, it's not really clear from the article.. Nonetheless if it's what I think, then it's a worthy news. Funny I didn't think of Star Wars, but that's as close as it gets I think
But we ignore one important thing here and that is the lesson! People need to learn something from the Python story!
Moving forward with an evolving concept, requires the (mathematical) coherence of all ideas. You cannot invent a spoken language, then break it and say now we speak a different dialect, because we use 2 words less this way. Nobody will adopt, not because the feature of reducing verbosity and increasing expressiveness is actually bad, but because the new concept branches out and technically seen it's "noise", because it adds more without integrating it. You can throw a second motor into a car, but without integrating the second motor, you will have no benefit. Python has to learn this the hard way, Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson made a decision for the C programming language about 40 years ago and all of the C code written back then can still be compiled, albeit some things have changed and require minor changes. But this is something you can introduce in a timespan of 40 years. You cannot make a new present every 5 years and say, that all many of the old presents you've made back then, have to be given back, when you accept the new present. Coherence and Evolution are powers that's use should unify and only diversify when required or requested by the diffusion of technology into the userbase.
I don't know why technologists and physicists underestimate and neglect nature as "not good enough, we can do better" every single time. There is so much ignorance that causes unnecessary friction and hate. To me nature is the most powerful thing in existence and consists of more than our universe, it is responsible for the laws of physics, life and everything. There is so much we will have to discover and what we will discover at the end is that all of what we found out has existed already for aeons and is mostly in use already by nature (if efficient, from it's perspective) somewhere out there.
Let me explain that argument by an example why our whole technology evolved only because of bio- or natural mimicry. Physicists who are amongst the most disconnected individuals from nature, were actually those who first learnt by "observing" it. Newton, Galileo, Einstein and many more, have used their incredibly unique perspective and way to observe the nature of the things they wanted to understand. By that, they have evolved or discovered ideas, concepts and later the logic that explains the things they observed.
(awesome metaphor btw)
1. Shave after a hot bath or use a hot towel (to open pores, for flexible hair)
2. After shaving, clean with cold water (to close pores and reduce irritation)
3. Apply some drops of thistle oil or non water-resistant sun lotion (15)
Thistle oil has no smell, is less acidic on the skin and has more healthy fats. You can also use it to make your shoes shine. I use virgin and cold extracted Coconot or Thiste oil as replacement for butter too. Having 1-2 Tablespoon of oil every morning is healthy and helps to burn fat. Contrary to what most believe, fat is healthy and helps men to keep their hormone levels table, for those who lift it helps to increase the testosterone levels. Alternatively use sun lotion, but be careful with sun lotion, the 15+ cremes contain Bisphenol A, Parabenes etc. some even cause allergies or increase irritation. However when you find a brand that works for you, it makes your skin appear younger due to the reduced UV penetration and the included oils. Just avoid sun lotion sprays they have worse quality.
If the one amongst us is ready, please post what you collected, I am sure everybody is as curious to see what there is. It's not just journalists who study the NSA revelations, but there are also hobbyists or simply some curious and innocent computer scientists (let's not say hackers here).
You can tell me that I'm wrong, or believe that this is mad, but please have a look at these few resources first. Let's make our decisions objectively and with critical thought as the parent thread's op said.

idk. this mixes up routing and api building, right? What people currently use most to build their api (mostly afterwards) is: http://docs.guzzlephp.org/en/latest/
btw. here's a nice and new php framework I've just recently found: http://www.cygniteframework.com/2013/07/quickstart.html
