Who is their target audience? definitely not me
The US did not want to create competition, but to break monopolies and to create a unified market for its industrial complex
The remnants of that goal are visible today with Big Tech

"who was first" doesn't make much sense when you know we are missing most of the data
"the first of the last 5"
> Fil-C has some limitations. Presently, it only works on Linux/x86_64. Also, it's slow – about 1.5x-5x slower than legacy C. That's in part because of its implementation of a pointer encoding method for tracking bounds and types called MonoCaps, and also overhead from calling conventions and dynamic linking that differ from standard C.
This is the definition of Worse C, and nobody wants nor need that
If you want/need C with an optional GC, just use D, it also compile C code
China: slave labor
China: slacking
What's next?
And that's not a bad thing
- open source
- portable
- crossplatform
- efficient
- always up to date

Why is it only a problem for Sony, but not for Apple?
FUD journalism
- smaller

- cost saving
and they are all valid reasons, it's a handheld, the form factor will evolve until perfected
And you think they'll disclose everything they do? The NSA love to disclose everything they do, it's a known fact /s
When the CIA controls Facebook, it's not to spy on users, it's to spread data to rig an election and create civil unrest, like with Myanmar

Or Musk with Twitter
the US will definitely _not_ love the death of the USD, or no longer having access to rare earth materials located in China ;)
People are free to use the name they want, whether it is the NSA or an individual, it doesn't matter
If you are Unity, you have to do charity, and offer your products for free, and never try to sell anything else :^^)
Let's put things into perspective shall we:
Facepunch sold 16 millions copies of Rust in 2023 [1]
At $40, it's ~448 millions USD after the 30% cut from Valve (30% flat tax lol), $500k a year is not even 1%
But wait a minute, what even is Rust? Rust is an online open world PvP survival multiplayer game, so it relies on a cloud infrastructure with beafy servers to handle all the physics and proc gen, if they sold 16m copies just in 2023, they then have to handle a lot of concurrent players[2], whether it is from Unity or not it doesn't matter, so the 500k is relative, it's a successful game, the invoice will be sweet regardless of the cloud provider
Without knowing more details, the email probably goes: "We now bundle the product X, and you meet the criteria"
Remember, less than 1%, and is relative to the type of game and its success, shy of the 30% cut from Valve
I don't particularly like Unity, but people are free to use the engine of their choice, or roll their own
For steam however, it's where the users are, therefore you have no other choice but to get taxed 30%
So make sure you fight the right battle, nobody forced you to pick Unity, you had choice
Either way it is noise used to serve propaganda
No? ok, back to NPC role
This is why the other side of the world chose to team up, typical snubbing from the west
European countries rank very high (USA only 14th)

How many employees does it take to run chess.com vs lichess.org ? who work harder? who is more efficient? That kind of business is bad for him, yet is great of value, perhaps there is a disconnect somewhere?
