Varcht··on The Buzzfeed Lesson
AP has had a lot of "opinion..." in it's feeds over the last couple years. I used to be a big fan of their uncurated "Raw Feed" but they decided that was not something they wanted to expose any longer.

The others are ok sources but still too much opinion mixed in for my money. Can't somebody just give us the facts?

Varcht··on The Buzzfeed Lesson
Do you have any suggestions? Are there any reputable sources remaining? Not sure I could trust any single source ever again. Not enough to pay for it anyways.

Varcht··on Inkscape launches versions 0.92.4 and 1.0 alpha
Never seemed that buggy to me but maybe I am jaded by years of experience using $10k CG apps that crashed a lot more.

Congrats on Alpha!

My Mistake. I try to be good about that, for some reason it just popped up in my aggregator and I did not look closely at the date.

Counter Counter Point: The supply chain has been a place for a long time and is pretty convenient, I'd say even more so.
Varcht··on Backcountry Drug War
Anecdotally... Many of my neighbors started smoking when it was legalized here. Neighbors on both sides toke pretty much every day in their backyards. Well actually at first they vaped mostly, that wasn't so noxious, just occasionally caught a whiff of it. Now it seems they have figured out they can buy weed from the resident dealer for a lot less without all those pesky taxes, at least I see them talking to him a lot more often these days.

Varcht··on Software developer tops list of U.S. News and World Report's annual best jobs
“Unlike some other jobs that do pretty well on the list, which are very demanding, software developer tends not to be a really stressful profession," Koenig said.

Varcht··on Things You Can’t Say About Assange or WikiLeaks
"It is false and defamatory to suggest that Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have not published critical information on Russia, Syria or Donald Trump [in fact, WikiLeaks has published hundreds of thousands of documents on Russia, millions on Syria, and thousands on Donald Trump, see https://wikileaks.org/spyfiles/russia/, https://search.wikileaks.org/?query=russia%7Cputin%7Cmoscow#..., https://wikileaks.org/syria-files/ & https://search.wikileaks.org/?query=trump#results]."
Varcht··on Things You Can’t Say About Assange or WikiLeaks
"It is false and defamatory to suggest that Ecuador isolated and gagged Mr. Assange due to his comments on Sergei Skripal [in fact, he was isolated over his refusal to delete a factually accurate tweet about the arrest of the president of Catalonia by Spain in Germany, along with U.S. debt pressure on Ecuador. The president of Ecuador Lenin Moreno admitted that these two countries were the issue, see https://defend.wikileaks.org/about-julian/]."

I can imagine a bunch of robots building a building and not colliding with each others work. You could do it without rt sensing but that's a lot of messages you could avoid.
