I for one benefited so much from Google Developer Groups while at University. Google made sure we learned how to build Android Apps, and consume API's and services like Maps, Firebase, etc. Overall, I gained a good understanding of how systems work, Thanks Google!

this site is the biggest culprit for me. My friends even ask "But what is that orange-grey site you are always on?"

As an African, I still wonder why London/England isn't on this list, given that they are the money laundering capital of the world.

Thanks O1111OOO!

Thanks

Thanks for taking your time to test this, I'm working on a couple fixes

Hi HN, thanks for testing this out. Big thanks to https://github.com/TomasHubelbauer for the changes, I have merged them and It looks cleaner now! The review may take a while, about 24 hours for these changes to appear but you can still install this directly.

PS: Apparently some users flagged this, maybe because it interferes with their HN Experience and they wouldn't want others to try it (which is sad, at least let them try it out, maybe they would find it useful), or maybe some think its about viewing Karma, but no, It simply helps you view the profile, just as you would normally, but without navigating to another page.

This was a nice writeup. Thanks for sharing!

I have a naive question..what would happen if google simply stopped paying this money, and let the user decide?...I guess it wouldn't affect them much, google is still the best search engine.

Haha

Thats like 2500 files each with 1000 lines of code. Seems pretty reasonable to me for the twitter app, Android or IOS. Languages like JAVA and Objective C are verbose, unlike say Kotlin and Swift.

Finally, the real Airbnb

I wish we had the same pricing model for Cloudflare Images. I have never understood the CF Images pricing model [1]

Thank you. Had missed that

On the light end here, Aproova Mehta once said; "I learn't two important lessons, First and foremost, Gary Tan loves his beers..haha"

We probably wouldn't have instacart where it is if it weren't for Gary. Thanks Gary.

Musk's account was among those that were hacked in the 2020 high profile hack. He made the offer in 2022, he therefore can't claim to not have known that twitter's security isn't 100% and really can't use this in court, I guess

This is really excellent. A quick one, is there a plan for us to select a particular android device? This would be particularly useful for debugging apps.

Unlike in the IOS world, the Android market is so saturated with devices, you may not know how your app (camera feature for example) will behave on a Tecno phone.

Not forgetting the "meet" tab in the gmail app, for android. And I tend to use this most since meeting reminders come through mail

Same on Chrome 103

No wonder I find 80's movies, or 80's themed movies more aesthetically pleasing
