Not really. Air conditioning is a heat displacement system, so you'd still have the same amount of heat. Using infrared radiators would just accelerate global warming since green house gases mainly absorb infrared light.

Visible light would probably be a hazard. Would be pretty great for "beam in the sky" special effects though.

The Seattle area definitely does - they have #28, #41, and #80 out of the best 100 high schools.

The issue opener's phrasing was probably why the response was also rude.

>we should be able to iterate on language features as freely as we do on application features. We ship applications, why shouldn't we ship the languages, too?

Time needed to learn and refactor :/

I can vouch that Lightroom is 100x better than Darktable. The UI is better, and the application crashes less. Lightroom is basically the reason I switched back to a windows desktop (along with Photoshop, Solidworks, MS Word, etc.).

Well he just clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of his marketing technique. If he can provide useful information, and gain advertising at the same time, I don't see the problem. It's a win/win.

You can't feasibly construct small power though. It's hard enough to run an electrical grid built on "big power." Very expensive too. With "small power" you would have to completely change all existing infrastructure along with costs of small power generation . Just think of how long and how much it costed for decentralized computing to become a "thing." and computing is practically cost free when compared to computing

Keep in mind you wouldn't regularly fully discharge a car battery pack, however you would discharge a phone battery. Thus capacity reduction occurs at a slower rate than a laptop or phone.

That doesn't make his point moot though.

Hey do you guys do internships?
