For example: a component that lists blog posts could be represented by:
{
options:{
elements:[image, title, author, date]
},
criteria:{
sort:date.desc,
published:true,
limit:10
},
request_vars:{page:3}
}
That would show the last 10 posts that are published, ordered by date, on page 3 of the results.That's a simple example, this site: volumeone.org is built almost entirely this way.
Since it's in JSON format, JavaScript can be used to build UIs that build the components and layouts.
I'd be happy if I could just turn off overdraft "protection" altogether.

*actually I didn't watch the video all the way to the end where it shows the bevel. Yuck. Why?

1) The DOM is the model. JS reads elements and data attributes and builds a model from them. Then updates the model when the DOM changes. (Angular)
2) The model is loaded from JSON. Then the App builds the DOM based on the model. (Ember)
So is the question: Does it start with the DOM, or start with javascript objects?
Am I understanding this debate correctly?
So, the app functions on its own in the client, and only checks-in periodically with the server to see if anything is not valid?
(As opposed to sending a request to the server for every change.)
So for example: when I submit a comment, it doesn't go to the server right away. It immediately displays successfully in my browser, and could be submitted to the server 2 seconds from now, or something?
If I attended a protest like Occupy Wall Street or something, and gmailed my friends about it. Then, a year later, was told that I can't board an airplane because I'm on a no-fly list.
If not, it seems like battery switch stations are inevitable.
Are those bad? It sounds like you might have learned a hard lesson, and I'd be curious to hear more.
A lot of sitcoms aren't funny, but Big Bang Theory is like being held down by your older brother while his spit drips on your face.
Maybe it's supposed to be ironic? Like it's so bad it's good?
In high school my friends and I had bad-movie nights, where we'd do our own Mystery Science Theater. Is it like that? Do friends get together and smoke pot and have a Big Bang Theory marathon where they make fun of how terrible the jokes are?
Just trying to understand.
But it makes me think about how much easier it would have been to make that in Flash 10 years ago. Sigh.
(by the way, you live in one of the best countries in the world, that's gotta provide an added boost)
