I agree with you. You saw a question that should have been asked but wasn't. You phased the question in a specific way to give a specific answer.

It does not make sense to bury this information in tons of other posts that would not come up in a google search when searching for this problem.

I don't get the nontrivial argument. Is everything in the documentation nontrivial? Where is the ideal place for a user looking for the answer to this question?

I agree it is linkbaity. But most of the web is taking a moment to shit on Zuck and I think it's nice to have a collection of people who know he was probably just a typical shit-talking 19 year old.

and that's why you have to attack the problem at every decision point. From birth to death we are told what is a masculin job and what is a feminine job. So from birth to death we need to start pointing out that jobs are simply to be done by people who can accomplish the tasks.

I agree. Exposure of role models is key. Being the first to do something often sucks. so it;s nice to know others have been there and it was not so bad.

People who complain the button is ugly seem to be missing the point. iF there is something that flash can do that HTML5 and the canvas can't do then it's a bridge to be crossed.

While this might be a bad example it would be worth wile to have a list of what flash can do that HTML5 can not yet. The we can talk about if it is or is not worth implementing.

I don't there is a reason to loose enthusiasm. I've talked with the bespin team and they know they have along way to go. Just because it's not feature complete doesn't mean it sucks.

It seems like they have built a strong base. Some cool projects have adopted it. And it seems like in a year or two it might even have a really strong feature set. So I'm excited even if I don't use it much currently.

I bought a house. According to this calc i may or may not have been a good idea based on how the house appreciates (I got it at the bottom of the market).

But at the end of the day my house is like 4x bigger then my apartment. So worth it even if it does not end up being an over all savings or not.

no matter if you think this article is well written or not I'm kinda tired of people's answer to gender inequality. We are not in some golden age of equality. equality has changed for the past 500 years and will continue to change. If you know it's going to change how can you not try and learn why it's changing and how you can affect it?

Matt Mullenweg is, in general, the nicest person in the world and if you can actually find a point of contention with him then you are doing something wrong.

I would focus less on the input box and more on the task. Each app focuses on a single task presented with as few options as possible. it's hard to use any service wrong because there is not much to mess up as a user.

I think that while this is a problem the solution should be to just make picking a theme either as part of the sign up process or as a high lighted feature. People who have trouble reading light text would then know they could change the look and feel of the application.

I was born in 82 and have way too much in common with kids in HS. Perhaps this is because my first job was for a high school social network and my wife is a Young Adult Librarian.

Not only are my wife and I planning on getting one but I can name about four others who are also planning on getting one.

For a lot of people price is really an issue. But I still think that Andriod is just a better phone system.

IE6 has been phased out fairly quickly for IE7 and I'm sure IE8 will come in just as fast.

CSS seems like it's here to stay and it will still be around when it's finally fully implemented.

I still think it's best to hire full time designers then going to an outside firm. I am biased because I am a user interface designer for startups. But I think working on something full time lets you understand the application much better.

yep... I set it as my default. Now FF is just for development until Chrome has extensions and firebug comes over.
