You know what else causes unnecessary harm to science, public trust and health policy? Repeated and condescending lies and gas-lighting from those in charge.
And what happened during the experience?
A lot of the benefits either don't really exist like supporters say they do, or are actually gotchas.
In brief
* single point of failure
* false sense of privacy
* false sense of ownership
* currentlt only for the rich due to costs
I outlined my thoughts here;
I started with year-end reviews too. Hopefully next year will see me having some success as well.
Yep, status symbols. NFTs are just internet bling/flexing, like digital cold chains and chunky rings.
Is this being taught in some Ivy League module somewhere? I'm genuinely baffled.
I wrote about my thinking on this last year.

Uh, yeah, no. I fully support my country's stance on this. We simply cannot afford to indemnify an multinational company from their own product.
I think most iPhone users buy the latest model every year, and that those who consistently use older or secondhand devices, wouldn't buy new often enough to affect Apple’s sales anyway.

What I see here seems like Americans(Californians?) trying to force their cultural preferences on the rest of the world. And they think they're doing good?
They don't own the English language.
My secret? Follow topics, not people. My feed is filled with galaxies, animals, art... cool, interesting, inspiring stuff.
So I made something that will allow non-techie users to use advanced queries with a simple GUI.

When I read any content related to the economy it seems that anything that helps the poor and middle class get ahead is immediately branded as "evil, socialist marxist propaganda", but if it benefits the extremely wealthy (and helps exploit those under them) it's "good for the economy and country".
Index funds are "worse than marxism"? Please. Even the prime embodiment of capitalism, Warren Buffett, recommends them, and have done so for years.
