bbc's website is cancer... (one of the worst for 2022)

I didn't say that it would fix everything... only that it would help.

They already aren't very concerned about their well-being... not sure how it would make it any worst...

Either way, what would you blame?

The US justice system is sad... ending private prisons would probably help fixing it.

Maybe they even thought that it would be a good thing that people would stalk at first... then they could implement a semi-effective method to prevent it... and be looked at like heroes

usually you have to pay for a mobile internet connection and use GPS... not of them have access to all iphones

I don't think that those have access to a large network of iphones...

You can do it in Firefox too

I think that the stalker AND Apple is evil in this case because Apple is tracking ALL I-phones, so that you can find your keys...

> xref - You can opt out.

track your ex girl friend easily... thanks apple ....

it should be opt-in at the very least

Not sure why HN is so anti-privacy lately

I think that you don't understand what this allows you to do...

Monero

> acheron - Tracking it is good.

Yeah, just like the "PATRIOT" Act is good...

> I should be able to track my things.

not by using my device

Only Apple allows anyone to track anyone all over the world for $20.

It's crazy that a "privacy" company would make something like this... Apple is all speech... even Google didn't make something this evil.

I'm all for it... it sucks... you have to tell them what time and what border point you will cross...

I like my $75 refurbished HP laser printer... never had to change the toner cartridge in 2 years printing almost daily and the replacement is cheap.

How about ophthalmic antibiotic ointment too?

> The money will be used to help combat the impact of the crisis in Lake and Trumbull counties.

> The companies plan to appeal.

It's pretty rare that my AMEX card gets refused...

Manjaro doesn't bring anything besides the easier installation anyways.

> Residential: provide IP addresses from Internet Service Providers (ISP) pool that are shared with other users

> Mobile: the best class of proxies for web scraping that is based on ephemeral IP addresses which are frequently exchanged with mobile network users who move between Base Transceiver Stations (BTS)

I can change my home IP address whenever I want... just change my router's MAC address and reboot the modem.

How about automated filling options....

The only way I would trust electronic voting is if we had a secure end-to-end verifiable e-voting system using zero knowledge proofs, so that you can verify that your vote was counted.

For now, paper voting is safer.

With latest news, I was under the impression that they are adding a bunch more ads: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2022-08-14/apple-...

And ads are coming....

At least they let you know in the first paragraph but I agree even if it doesn't apply only to the Linux kernel.

Adafruit had some in stock a few minutes ago: https://twitter.com/rpilocator ... I think every Wednesday around 11am ... I almost got one this time, but because they had me setup 2FA I couldn't checkout on time.
