Gray market stuff.
PartiallyTyped··on EPA Seeks to Eliminate Critical PFAS Drinking Water Protections
Indeed, Doritos in Poland tasted garbage compared to those in Denmark, Ireland, and Germany.
PartiallyTyped··on EPA Seeks to Eliminate Critical PFAS Drinking Water Protections
Doritos even have different ingredients between EU countries.

I have tested this in Denmark, Poland, Cyprus, Ireland and Germany.

It’s okay though, as some brilliant minds have said, the price of a few deaths is acceptable for less regulation!
PartiallyTyped··on Many hard LeetCode problems are easy constraint problems
It’d be a positive in my book if they used a constraint solver.

All you’ve done is live up to your handle.

The good thing about science is that it doesn’t need a “trust me bro”.

He advocated for killing, incarcerating, and conversion “therapies”. You should familiarise yourself with what’s happening there.

The more you try to sane-wash the more you show what kind of person you are.

How about we listen to the actual doctors and not a political opportunist whose legacy is advocating for guns right after kids have died?

What Charlie has advocated for.

No victim blaming, he is not a victim of anything other than his own actions.

He has been fanning the flames for years. He has exploited political conflict for personal gain.

What you clearly missed is that Charlie could have had a life that was different had his behaviour been different.

He was not attacked over an immutable or protected characteristic. He was not murdered because he is white/straight/gay/black/trans. His murder was independent of his characteristics and entirely dependent on his character.

There is no “hate crime” here as far as the definition is concerned.

Charlie was pushing the narrative that trans people are over represented in shootings and terrorist attacks.

Charlie was not targeted over a characteristic like sexuality, race, and whatnot that would make it a hate crime.

Charlie could have very well chosen not to push a narrative that strips 2A from a minority.

Affirming the consequent.

I can see why some believe he is “good”.

Absolutely did not advocate for lynching and killing trans people like 50s and 60s.

Wink wink, nudge nudge.

Trans people must be stopped, for the children!

We all know what his words mean, the veil is thin enough that even a moron would understand it, and thick enough that the law protects him.

if you can’t correlate the exposure of the public to such comments with the rise in violence against LGBT people, I’d recommend some self-reflection and asking yourself what the consequences are if you are wrong.

Hopefully you are capable of feeling empathy towards others.

A trans person is not a political opponent any more than a white male is a political opponent.

Stop pretending Charlie wasn’t pushing a harmful narrative that lead to an increase in hate crime.

PartiallyTyped··on Charlie Kirk killed at event in Utah
It all starts with that.

They are literally making being trans illegal in red states, and this is just one more pebble.

PartiallyTyped··on Charlie Kirk killed at event in Utah
They literally talk about revoking 2A for trans people. What are you on about?

Plenty of websites track this legislation.

If you really wanted, you could have an agent do deep research and answer that for you.

I find myself pondering how the families of victims of stochastic terrorism feel, do they try to rationalize why their loved ones died?

I am in the unfortunate situation to have found myself a victim of hatred — nearly got abducted — found myself threatened and discriminated against on the basis of my sexuality and appearance, had people spread rumours about my birth sex, and I wonder, do the perpetrators of stochastic terrorism ever feel any remorse? Are they capable of seeing us as fellow humans? Have they a heart that can feel pain for people they can’t relate to any more than just being other people?

Grand, let’s observe state-wide evidence.

Red states overwhelmingly occupy the bottom end of leaderboards by all accounts of education except the number of people believing in fairytales about angels.

I don’t understand why this became about politics, but I will bite.

Republicans want to dismantle department of education, have cut funding for education, food stamps, free meals, etc. they are by definition against education for the outgroup and “the poors”. So I think that label is apt.

On the other hand, Dem leadership is quite racist and has a saviour complex. They identified the right issue — children from impoverished areas that don’t see a future for themselves through education are underperforming — but instead of treating the problem they push stuff like no child left behind. In their defence though, republicans simply don’t allow any legislation that would improve education to go forward, mainly because they benefit from it.

Isn’t it obvious? Children of immigrants do way better. Children of Asian households do way better than other ethnicities, and children in impoverished areas do a lot worse.

All of this is cultural and anyone who thought I implied race — which looks like you did — is a moron and a racist.

IMHO this whole thing is environmental.

PartiallyTyped··on US High school students' scores fall in reading and math
Not just education but overall intellectualism. It’s a purely cultural issue that can be observed by looking at demographics.

All execution has to be serial in one way or the other, even if you backtrack you still spent time at T-i at one state, and then go back to a previous state. An LLM could very well act as simply having a tape of the computations it executed and evaluated in the sense that tokens J-K correspond to state at T-i, and the tokens after correspond to the previous state.

In essence, thinking of the computations performed as if logged on an infinitely long tape.

Now, an immutable tape without overwrites is at best a finite automaton, but giving it the ability to replace tokens — which we have and can do — gives us an interpreted tape that — in a very handwavey manner and if you really squeeze your eyes — resembles a Turing machine.

So backtracking could be simulated by an LLM, no?

Is there any “difference” under these conditions up to what an LLM can approximate?

Unusual whales does a lot of reporting of this nature.

One could also take a look at pages like cheddar which track what they claim is unusual flow in options.

What’s the difference between backtracking and flattening the computation?

So you are basing your comment on what Amzn does based on comments from HR?

Please…

AWS does a lot of bleeding edge stuff, many of which never make it to prod.
