I disagree on this as a goal. Some things take generations: my great-grandparents had a good standing back in pre-war Europe. Then the war came and my grandparents escaped to South America - not great. My parents got up to high school level education. I got a B.Sc. Maybe my kid will go farther.

I was saying the exact opposite: that these being meritocratic positions, you cannot get ahead just by belonging to the "right club". Moreover, I am confident there's plenty of palestinean people at Google. Google likes to make money, and whoever can ship the best product gets to work there. I'm willing to bet if they could plug a dolphin to a keyboard and it produced good code, it will be employed at Google as well.

one thing is to say: Google leadership is there thanks to their talents and accomplishments; many of them happen to be Jewish. other thing is what you said:

your version implies that they are at leadership positions _because_ they are Jewish, and furthermore there can't be any palestinean for the same reason.

you may claim that the IDF committed crimes (a discussion for another time) but lynching is at the same level as cannibalism. one thing is mistreating/torturing/executing a POW. another is lynching two people, telling the wife of one of them from his cell phone "we are killing your husband" and then raising your blood drenched hands from the window greeting the cheering crowd below.
