Have you even built the product yet? All I see are a few embed forms and zero information or screenshots on the product...

Replace whoever proposed this bill IMMEDIATELY.

"But the key point is that is always BS when the person you are talking to thinks he knows better about your business than you. And that there are some obvious thing you should and you aren't doing it that will fix your startup."

YES. YES. ON POINT.

What pain-point was Outbox solving and was it really that painful to get you to pull out money for a scanning solution...

If you don't know HTML5/CSS3, you're screwed!

This thread hits home with me. Its been a year since I went all into building my product. Its taken some time since I'm a solo founder and I am willing to accept that. It sucks. Sometimes you start questioning what you're doing. I started getting sudden anxiety attacks late last year. Abnormally long work/coding hours take a toll on your health. My most recent anxiety attack lasted 3 hours. Anyway, if any of you are in the sf/bay and want to hang out talk about product or whatever, I think there's a lot we can relate to. There needs to be more positive encouragement in our community.

Yes, being a solo-founder is a total mind-f* but, the journey is well worth it! Don't give up no matter what anyone else says or suggests. Break free from social-conditioning and group-think. There really are no rules!

I am really trying to integrate balanced into my software but I am just getting stuck. A few video tutorials or a live workshop/meetup/hack day would really help!

Why do so many force the idea of taking on a co-founder?

In lew of work, the "quit-your-job" app toys around with the idea of quitting without actually following through. Great idea for corporate zombies.

Try working for a small business NOT IN TECH. Things get interesting fast. You will like it.

Problems 1)I do not have a Facebook account 2)I am not making money by using this app.

Bad advice for small business.

I wish Jeff a fast recovery. He is probably overworked and has a lot on his mind. Get well soon!

Three words: no thanks NSA. How about the government fix potholes and explain where the gas excise tax revenues actually go...

This whole thing sounds highly suspicious. There was also no reason for the downvote.

Why was he doing drugs?

If this software is detecting currency, the obvious follow-up question we should ask is: what else is it detecting, how does it do this, and why?

Could it be that each image generated from Adobe Software also tags the image with unique identifying computer, timestamp information?

Blatant rip-off of the BlackBerry keyboard. Textbook intellectual property infringement case - slam dunk!

Incorporate and get serious. Stop listening to the noise. Make your own decisions. Do something differently. Ask for payment. Those who find value in your product WILL pull out their money. Those who just try to be nice will not.

Become an expert in your industry. Work harder and longer than anyone else. Take breaks once in a while.

Wake up and do it all over again until you become big.

What is your budget and time-frame.

Employers are taking WAY MORE RISK than the worker.

The term is called Employment-At-Will http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-will_employment

Don't forget to self-promote and always toot your own horn. wink wink

Medium is elitist. No way I am spending any more time writing on there.

Interesting. She is obviously not 22 now. Why take so long to start this company?

Can someone please answer what problem is being solved here?

I once emailed Derek. He went out of his way to answer my questions. I can vouch for his character. Legit dude. Much respect.
