Shame about having to wait 1+ day to test one. Would love to see a stand-alone desktop implementation.
I Use it as to-do list, organizer, idea jotting, project manager.

Don't sweat too much on this. As log as you actually get the work done, even pen and paper can be fine.
If it's a real niche field like you said, they probably won't get swamped by this kind of emails very much and will get curious.
Once you make a few fans, you could ask whether they can spread the word, or, if they're really into it, they'll do it for you on twitter and such.
But again, it as last year, so I assume 3 years make a huge difference in development, plus Haxeflixel is a haxe framework tailored for making games. Here we have stereotypical green light terminals, OCR Font mixed with Mission Impossible strikethrough font mixed with bitmap fonts mixed with serious fonts: cartoon portraits with flash-style-shaded body illustrations with real life pictures.
