I thought that passing down allocators was core to the language. I was mistaken. This is actually quite nice for writing allocation code when you'd like to opt into it.
Buddy you're fighting against 3000 years of dilution. Let people have their word
I would definitely bet against this if I could. Soil is far more potent than DDT can harm.
For the hundredth time. He's an extremely rare person focused on quality, value, and competency. And he clearly just loves his own game
Edit: Sorry? Pay for what, and risk what why? AAA studios simply cannot deliver good value in comparison. The donation is unrelated—or perhaps, arguably, open source makes this productivity possible.
You call these things something other than an "allocating" and "allocators". Seriously, few people would consider adding a value to a hashmap an intentionally allocational activity, but it is. Same with adding an element to a vector, or any of the dependent actions on it.
Seriously
Are we speaking another language? C'mon, this isn't obvious at all.
> but Matravers is a very strange non-English sounding name, and indeed according to Wikipedia it's from French
Duh? Was "vers" not a major clue?
...what kind of language education did you receive? I was taught english, french, and latin. Were you taught german or dutch by any chance?
"Cleaning" soil is an interesting concept. At what point does it just become dirt? Presumably some of the nutrients will remain, but it seems like this would sterilize it.
Dirt still has use, of course, but soil is expensive to produce for a reason.
Gee, it's almost like it's not about the screen itself at all.
I'd bet anything that they know people are pissed the market has wildly misallocated capital and are trying to save face by framing it as a cost that directly impacts consumers. In reality, the fear is knowing that our investor class is really too dumb to handle the money we've stuck in a box called "the world's retirement funds" and handed to them.
This is also what protection payments look like on paper; surely we can reduce violence much more.
I say: let every country have nukes, or let no country have them. This halfway bullshit is worse than either.
That seems a little silly on the face of it when you realize most people complicit during the war in what we would now call war crimes weren't even charged to begin with. Many on the losing side found lucrative jobs with the side that won, and the side that won wasn't even considered for charges.
> In a world where human rights are not respected, why would we think that the Jewish people are anything but disadvantaged?
That also seems a little farcical any way you twist it
> If might makes right, you've already accepted that the world belongs to China.
Actually, I think we're moving towards a world that is more earnestly determined by market forces. Or, these were always the same concepts; we just can't force the world to take our "deals" anymore.
Insane that this is seen as "better software". I could do basically the same functionality in 2000 with 512mb. I assume this is because everything runs through chrome with dozens more layers of abstraction but
That one is ~2600 years old
