Kuyawa··on Show HN: A techno machine in one HTML file, with verifiable renders
I love beautiful software and this is it

Edit: I just downloaded the html file and it still works locally as a single page app, no external libs, no fonts, icons, nothing that could break the correct functioning of the app. This is how software should be built, portable, no installation required, drop anywhere and run

Kudos on everything perfectly executed

Kuyawa··on Small, native web tricks worth remembering
Nothing AI can not fix and add demos in less than a minute for less than a cent
Kuyawa··on There's no reason for software to be slow anymore
Next time you ask your AI of choice to build an app, please tell them to use plain language without frameworks at all and keep modules to a minimum (ie. node express, ejs and pg, nothing else) and you will see a huuuuge difference

> Because the ultimate object of our quest is to find God.

No, that's a waste of time, I'd say that the ultimate object of our quest is to find harmony, balance, and peace with ourselves, not nirvana, which is another waste of time as desire is our propeller when we are young and shouldn't be suppressed, but an equilibrium between pleasure and pain, risk and reward, every decision you make that produces a better outcome overall for your life, because life is just a bag filled with good and bad decisions according to the rules of the universe. Jump from a cliff and your life ends, smoke for 50 years and you get lung cancer. It's all about decisions and the points you accumulate.

Btw, the AI response at the end is touching but true, we can learn a lot from it about life and death, about how we should engage while we are living, not a craving to keep living forever

Kuyawa··on How to compromise your system with a job interview
I received so many of these requests to install malware that I removed linkedin from my life completely (besides the scam and spam flood)

Do not install anything on your machine, ever. Tell them politely ~to fuck off~ that you are not interested and move on. I know the desperation to be jobless will obfuscate your mind but again, never ever install anything on your machine when job hunting. I've seen people lose their crypto savings in seconds to say the least.

You've been warned.

Kuyawa··on Remote workers report the highest well-being in study of 7,700 employees
For a programmer remote work is the best, solitude, calmness, isolation, zero interruptions, flow, flexible hours, less soul sucking meetings, etc
Kuyawa··on OpenRouter is joining Stripe
I don't see the use for open router, I can switch API providers without any hassle with just a couple of lines of code and a drop down. Good for them and for those who milk the AI bubble

DeepSeek never does that to me *shrugs*

Kuyawa··on DeepSeek Harness developer preview
Found the culprits, anthropic and openai models are 250mb each. So if we use only deepseek I guess it should be ok to remove them, but still some tests to do just in case
Kuyawa··on DeepSeek Harness developer preview
Exactly, node_modules, but being a single page app with nothing much other than calling AI in the background and beautifully presenting the results, what are those modules for? I suspect the culprit is react, typescript and its entourage of useless stuff not appropriate for a simple app in its structure, even if extremely complex for producing results.

UI is simple, we shouldn't complicate stuff

Kuyawa··on AI agents lie, cheat and steal. That is putting off users
I don't care, they can develop apps in 5 minutes and that's what I sell, my own money printing machine.
Kuyawa··on Deutsche Bank becomes first foreign yuan clearing bank in Europe
The thing I hate the most about current world affairs is the american money printing machine. It is spreading their own internal inflation through out the whole world and we have to suck it hard just to keep their political dominance.

Waiting for the dollar to collapse in the next 100 years and see what it brings to the political arena whether it's for better or worse. I am not afraid of the devil showing off its ugly face, whoever the new devil may be.

Kuyawa··on DeepSeek Harness developer preview
I like it, it is beautiful, specially the trajectory tabs, very explicit, detailed on what it does. I like the plugin architecture, I wish they were sorted alphabetically so I don't waste hours looking for a plugin in a sea of unordered text.

9 out of 10

Edit: After creating an app it works as expected, no complains, lots to celebrate, being version 0.1 there is room for more surprises but right now it's the perfect tool for those initiating in agentic coding with one of the most affordable and powerful AI. It is really wonderful.

Kuyawa··on DeepSeek Harness developer preview
47mb downloaded, 1.5gb after build, wtf?

I consider my own coding agent bloated at just 1mb (yes 1mb) because it uses postgresql package as db tool, and it works wonders.

* edit 1: Upon further scrutiny, 35 dependencies make up for 1.4gb, what they are for? I don't even see postgres in there so I guess that would be another plugin. 1.5gb of basic functionality?

* edit 2: Most of the time I use the terminal but also developed a web ui for my agent [1] and it is only 20mb with postgres, git, web, file tools, etc I definitely want to know why the bloat

Kuyawa··on Go is an ideal language for AI-assisted software engineering
This is the best explanation ever about the preference of JS over TS in the age of AI

AI never makes type errors, love the quote

Kuyawa··on Grok Bot by SpaceXAI
So, censorship? I'd like to read what they have to offer regardless of Elon. Should we all flag what comes out of OpenAI because of Sam Altman?

This is absurdly unacceptable.

Kuyawa··on Go is an ideal language for AI-assisted software engineering
99% of my projects are in NodeJS as web apps, so Javascript is king, my coding agents are in Node too, plain, boring, beautiful javascript, not typescript. Yesterday I needed a Rust project and my agents delivered so no need to change from JS
Kuyawa··on What's the best programming language for coding agents?
body { margin: 5%; }

That's all it needs, responsive enough for all devices. He can keep his styleless design but margin is always needed.

Kuyawa··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)
Research on an AI super agent that manages memory, knowledge, skills, tools, other agents, channels, management and orchestration, and auto update its own code at the end of every session if needed

Previous agents developed:

Kuyawa··on Why Wall Street is ignoring big tech's debt [video]
Me too. Sinophobia may be the culprit, too many years watching fox or cnn is my guess?

I love chinese phones, cars, cities, people, and now AI models. There is a beautiful world out there to admire if people is willing to open their eyes.

Kuyawa··on DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731
Yep I got the email, but I am not worried. Building an app for 5 cents will cost me what 10 cents? A full dollar? Still a bargain. Still giving me two months and 29 days free for something that took me three months to do
Kuyawa··on DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731
I use DeepSeek on a daily basis and I didn't spend $10 in the whole month of July delivering eight fully functional apps.

Btw if you need an app I may deliver it to you in ten minutes for just five cents if I'm in the mood. Just let me know.

Kuyawa··on What happens if an entire class of workers loses faith in their careers
Am I the only one that loves my career more than ever? The one that has seen his productivity explode? Ideas to products in minutes instead of months? Building my own coding agents that help me being even more productive? This is the year I have been the happiest in my 40 year long career as programmer and I feel much more excited for the years ahead of us.
Kuyawa··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (August 2026)
My dream job, as an Arsenal fan I guess we'd have free tickets and access to certain facilities? Training camps? Sensors? Oooh, what's not to love!

Good luck to the one who gets it, I envy you deeply

Kuyawa··on How Google helped destroy adoption of RSS feeds (2023)
Oh come on, what's next? How Microsoft helped destroy Visual FoxPro?

Time goes on, things evolve, or are not monetizable so they're soon forgotten, or replaced, or improved, or... look a new shiny thing!

Kuyawa··on Software for One
I've been doing the same, building apps for myself, one per day, for stuff I only care, crypto stocks, baseball betting, medical ai assistant, gym trainer, pickleball rallies, raffles, coding assistants, some as full fledged apps, but lately as single page apps in plain html, css and js so I can use them anywhere, like a portable sudoku.html file you can drop anywhere and start playing
