Khelavaster··on The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human Race (1999)
By the author of "Guns, Germs and Steel"!

This is sort of eurocentric though -- what about successful Native American agriculture?

Khelavaster··on The meathead margin: how lifting weights might have saved my life
Your post is also mistaken. The study tested "In vivo tumor growth...using a tumor xenograft model."

It's humanized tumors in mice with humanized immune systems. Totally a mouse/rat study.

Don't be the guy who misleads researchers and sick people out of deep ignorance.

Khelavaster··on The meathead margin: how lifting weights might have saved my life
That's a single in vitro study which represents Lidocaine's well-studied effects on certain kinds of cancers.

Locally-delivered lidocaine to SCC-diseased oral areas and tumorous lymph nodes is totally feasible.

Khelavaster··on The meathead margin: how lifting weights might have saved my life
But really, shoot up some Lidocaine/analogues: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/odi.14819?af=R#:....

(Anticancer role of lidocaine in oral squamous cell carcinoma through IGF2BP2-mediated CAV1 stability)

Khelavaster··on Think of dopamine as finite resource to spend on activities
...And this author doesn't realize that enjoyable activities regenerate dopamine. RIP.

I was actually wondering, "how could they have shot themselves in the foot standards-wise by ignoring an XML version, if a JSON version would be first-class?

Khelavaster··on A seafood firm wants to farm octopus. Activists say they're too smart for that
Tilapia can be raised vegetarian. Salmon eat meat. Lots of fish can survive on mostly insects and water plants. All depends.
Khelavaster··on A seafood firm wants to farm octopus. Activists say they're too smart for that
"ranching" is the right term. Like what we do for lobsters, when we feed and trap them

How much lost work productivity comes from air quality issues..?
Khelavaster··on Velorum Therapeutics: Powerful cancer drugs that starve tumors (YC W24)
They build off of p53/SIRT heme regulation pathways...

1. Lidocaine seems to treat many cancers via hemeapoptosis and p53 pathway changes this same way, including ovarian & breast and oral SCC malignancies.

(See: "Lidocaine Promoted Ferroptosis by Targeting miR-382-5p /SLC7A11 Axis in Ovarian and Breast Cancer" (2021) -https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8188239/

and

"Anticancer role of lidocaine in oral squamous cell carcinoma through IGF2BP2-mediated CAV1 stability" (2023) -https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38071190/)

===

2. Velorum Therapeutics should explicitly promote p53 pathway more. Many cellular experts still don't implicitly associate p53 (and SIRT + nk-fb) with heme metabolism.

Khelavaster··on Molly's Game movie review and film summary (2017)
Fantastic movie. Love it.

Interestingly--It was produced with Molly's input while Molly was facing charges. A very exonerating angle.
