With the Digid app you just need to remember the pin code or unlock with face id. The app generates the codes for each login and then you just scan the QR. It's very simple to use.
Recently I lost my phone and had to set everything up again. I had to start digging for 2fa backup codes, but Digid I could easily set up again using the NFC chip in my passport.
Most of the advice can be easily spun around to "prove" the exact opposite.
I can agree that the problems start on the edge between the host platform and the containers like networking and mounted volumes, conflicting user and group ids.
They keep talking about KPIs and metrics, but they still expect you to work a certain amount of "hours". A big percentage is just chatting and walking around. I would say that I work much more effectively from home. A lot of managers just like to see a buzzing office as if that is some performance metric.
Two full time jobs is probably overdoing it. As long as you do your job correctly and you delivery the quality and quantity that is expected it should be fine to work on the side.
There is a reason there are managers and planners in every company. Projects are messy in all different ways.
Be flexible and keep an open mind. Try different things and figure out what works best for you.
With AB testing your are optimising for a specific outcome. Usually higher conversion. As pointed out in the article eventually you'll end up with a bunch of colourful buttons and scary texts that persuade the user to click. A lot of the "only 2 seats/rooms available" are lies to scare the user into a conversion.

Instead try to improve the customer experience, make better products, improve customer service.
Mattresses are big. They stand out when left on the side of the road.
They just offered return shipping as a service to the customer. It was all smoke and mirrors in the first place. If return shipping cost more than selling to discounters or handling the trash they will just let you keep the goods.
The damage Amazon, Zara, Primark and the likes are doing to this world is gigantic. Destroying the environment, tearing down worker rights, using close to slave labour, shipping their trash to poor countries, wasting fuel and resources.
I miss it too, but we are the minority.
I think most single people would have an easier time being frugal, but if you have a partner good luck with that. And if you have children you are stuck in the ratrace to send them to the most expensive schools and out of school activities.
If you would earn 250k, would you live in a trailer and take the bus to work?
I can hardly blame people. We are constantly bombarded with ads to buy buy buy. Max out your creditcards, invest in crypto, buy a boat, buy a car, fly around the world for holidays.
Before you know it you cannot get out anymore, no matter what your income is.
The issue seems also software related because if you would try the same screen or dongle with another MacBook it works fine, but it keeps failing on the malfunctioning MacBook. It is infuriating because the interface provides zero feedback.
The most annoying bug for me is when you "unplug in the wrong order" and the MacBook screen does not wake up when not plugged to an external monitor. You have to go back to your monitor and replug it and then "unplug in the correct order".
Anecdotally; the company where I work has hired people who had problems with social interactions. We even had special workplaces away from the rest of the employees where they could site and code all day.
This happens on all levels really. If it is a huge company like Pepsi or Tropicana or for example my high school which "rebranded" and all the students including me had to stamp thousands and thousands of exam paper with the new logo.
How can some entity move 200-300TB but have no finances to pay for it while having a multi layer management team? I really don't understand any of it.
