I read that healthcare was mollified by a facility whereby they could choose when and which updates to allow, which CS intentionally bypassed with this latest update. This was during the chaotic day-of though, so possibly false.
I can't figure out how this is going to work. Who will be paying for Infowars? How will they recoup their investment without just doing the same thing which lead to the company's current predicament? Also a lot of the brand value is tied-in with Jones himself, who I cannot see staying on with the outfit post-sale.
Does anyone here have a good idea about what happens next?
Doesn't this "bad" design allow Reddit to show a higher DAU? Isn't DAU correlated with ad prices? Sounds like a winning design to me, especially if it only appears that the design is bad, and not the intent behind it.
To me this all seems moot, as insurance companies will insist (via lower-priced policies) that any endeavor they cover be performed by an AI if more competent than a human, which will eventually be the case for any given knowledge-based task. If you want to accelerate that, get into research (or insurance), I guess?
I quite liked it at the time, but for some reason it chewed battery and cooked my phone, so I switched to Google News (which does the same thing, but not quite as bad). Does anyone know the reason news apps would need so much cpu?
