GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
You can't say a lot of things, so what!

Giant team is not prerequisite for doing proper simulation before launching a gigantic rocket. I am being sincere.

Nasa is in fact leading you on, to have some of their people wasting their time on this pseudo venture for optics.

You seem to be using faith as your guiding light too rather than reason. It is not a prototype bicycle for experimental launch.

It is all evident from down voting game that you are not open to criticism and gaming the boards.

GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
Does it use Nasa's pica heat shield. Nasa could have upgraded shuttle too to use their own tech so the shield tech is not material argument.

The boosters were recovered. https://www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/about/star/shuttle_110...

GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
They will get a single rocket from that ideology and get stuck again in the loop later on with any big modification.
GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
Lets assume that is the case.

That is where they should spend their cash to produce something of real value that can be reused. Simulation close to perfection is the end game. Not sending something chunky into space.

GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
I don't understand the term belly flop or rapidly reusable. Do You mean that it is becoming horizontal to reduce the falling speed rate to land on its belly?

shuttle was reused and landed on wheels parallel to its belly.

GizmoSwan··on Israel will not achieve herd immunity against Covid-19
phizer is saying that they have started trials for kids. So herd immunity is possible.

GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
Nasa did the calculation with with ancient computers and these guys are speculating and not using proper technology to achieve success. It makes no sense in 2021.

They should not be experimenting. Their simulations should be been solid before this stage.

It is good way to burn cash.

How so?
GizmoSwan··on Van Gogh hiding at the back of a Toulouse-Lautrec drawing
It does look like him.

GizmoSwan··on SpaceX SN9 Explodes on Landing
It should not have been an experiment leading to explosion at this stage.

You are not seriously willing to justify the explosion, are you? I hope that you are being sarcastic.

The experimental flying of rockets of this size are the 1960s thing. They should have acquired proper specs by now.

GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
But how much work is Amazon extracting from them. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/02/02/amazon-...
GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
LOL.

Apparently his rental is hydrogen powered.

Another mystery about whether he actually owns it.

Project Redwood.. LOL

Maybe he is leasing it. Businessinsider does not have access to his personal account and neither does his company.

They couldn't even get Trump's tax returns. They have no clue.

GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
Amazon is buying all warehouses and displacing regular stores. If it fails people will have problems buying things that they use to buy from local stores.

GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
He rents big boats for holidays rather than owning one which the feature of being retired or semi-retired billionaire.
GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
It is really trendy for billionaires to be interested in space right now. I think they want to make money there. They believe that too big to fail on earth means that they should go where nobody has made any money.

O'Neill was product of academia, a physicist and not a head of corporation.

US printing machines has funded the share printing machine that has allowed them to keep buying other companies.
GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
I just posted a reference to his purchase of 0.4 billion dollar boat.

He is retiring. Amazon is outcome of purchase of many many companies just like Microsoft.

Gates is retired and Microsoft is still buying companies even hotels; anything and everything has been bought with the cash acquired from US's money printing machine.

Being pro too large to fail corps has always been suspicious.
GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
He has bought a new 0.5 billion dollar boat this year. https://themarketherald.com.au/magazine/the-pursuit-of-comfo...

Bill gates is still renting.

What do you think he was going to do with all that cash.

After few years he will review his life after vacationing becomes dull for the workhorse.

GizmoSwan··on Email from Jeff Bezos to employees
Time to spend the cash. The big money had been made.
GizmoSwan··on Alzheimer’s Prediction May Be Found in Writing Tests
It can be found in their crooked smile or whatever. These are all subjective.

There is apparently blood test. Is it a real test?

GizmoSwan··on Tesla to recall 135,000 U.S. vehicles under pressure from auto safety regulators
That is not a voluntary recall. They had been under pressure for couple of years.

They are probably printing shares to pay for it now.

GizmoSwan··on Why does everyone in r/wallstreetbets make tons of money from option trading?
The agenda for listing a trade is have others copy one's trade to improve the odds.

Declaring success creates followers. Declaring failure removes followers. So those who fail are less likely to post their losses.

GizmoSwan··on Covid-19 Vaccine Tracker and types of vaccines
Trials by country https://covid19.trackvaccines.org/trials-vaccines-by-country...
GizmoSwan··on Myths of Vaccine Manufacturing
I disagree with the post inside the article because it is logically flawed. The current approved crop did not have capacity to produce those vaccines either. MRNA did not have the facilities. It is mostly subcontracted. The reason that others are not producing any vaccine, is due to fact that they don't have it approved yet. There many contractors but not all countries have them.

The lesson in all this is for each country to produce their own vaccines and create facilities within their own countries and avoid being in mercy of superpowers' self interests and punish companies that ignored them during times of great need.

GizmoSwan··on A 25-Year-Old Bet Comes Due: Has Tech Destroyed Society?
Tech always provides the tools for destruction but it is those who seek power and wealth with no set limit are those who employ those tools. Greed is worse than fear.

GizmoSwan··on Communications Minister touts the opportunities of a Google-less Australia
After he is gone, I don't think that his kids will stick around as long as he did but other entities will jockey up for the field and that process will continue if there are consumers of it .

News and editorials have to be separated. Editorials and blogs should not be paid for via such funding in my opinion.

ISP funding of various type of blogs, media, arts, etc should become elective via bundles that people select otherwise.
