I can't back it up because it was a televised congressional committee hearing and I don't remember the name of the scientist but he said that his data he had been studying and working with that was published in the 1940's was different from the data that is now published for that same time period. He made no accusations he just said his data showed no signs of global warming. So, I guess as a skeptic, yes this does make me think they are making it all up.
minimum wage for industry with tips is 2.13 an hour and the IRS estimates how much tip you make and taxes you that amount. Not tipping simply robs the worker.
tipping less just means the employee legally gets paid less than minimum wage and the restaurant owners really don't care as long as they don't have to pay full wages. the only way to solve tipping is to change the minimum wage laws that allow lower wages for tipping industries.
no they just hire someone else to work in their place. Restaurant owners I've worked for don't care if customers tip, that's the servers problem. And cooks don't care either if they are the reason the server doesn't get a tip. They get full wages regardless.
only very big cities have trains and again they are only convenient if they are going in your direction. I lived in Montreal for six years without a car. I could walk to work in 45 minutes. It would take 1/12 hours to get to work by subway and or bus.
no because the logistics simply don't add up to get everybody where they need to be when they need to be there. Most particularly retail and restuarant workers.
public transit simply cannot go in the direction everybody needs it, when they need it in a straight route. It used to take me approx 3 hours a day, sometimes more to get to an from a job that was a 25 minute drive away.10 hours more time for myself a week is freedom to me.
Despite some success, job corps have a violent history and poor track record and rampant corruption. Look it up, it's not hard to find. They don't have a very good reputation in the job employment market either. Locally, the factories teach employees welding as does the community college trade program, the latter is not free but very attainable for all ages. There are much better and more efficient ways to train youth than free tax dollars out of somebody elses pocket.
Or that you run profitable production facilities into the ground because you have no clue how stuff is made and need to justify your position and hide your ignorance with clever management 'improvements'. I live in a factory area and the new tactic is to advertise jobs under alternate corporate names because their reputations are so bad that nobody applies.
Yes, however this article is sporting the idea that the only difference between the designer product and the downmarket product is the unjustified inflated pricing.
Just like they do with black cats, dark clothing, lack of lighting. Dark colors absorb light, light colors reflect light. It is the reflection of light on a surface that gives it definition. I had a black cat that was nearly impossible to get spontaneous pictures of and I take night photography. Darkness requires more exposure time which equates to standing still longer. Facial recognition grabs people moving around in whatever lighting is available. It will inherently do better on lighter colors and contrasts just like the human eye does. Why do burglars and stage hands wear all black? So that they are harder to see.
Facial recognition is not done with staged lighting. Your examples simply prove that photographing darker colors, whether they be skin, fabric, fur or any other colored material requires specific lighting tocapture detail appropriately.
