Fizzadar··on Cheaters in Garry's Mod
Hooray! A few years ago I ran a small (5 server) gMod community. Up until now the only way to prevent cheaters has been to write your own Lua-based anti-hack, glad to see Garry has come up with a solution.

Some thoughts:

+ Comments are an absolute must (in the sidebar somehow?)

+ The page doesn't reach the bottom (gap between the bottom bar and above frame/sidebar)

+ Perhaps make the sidebar smaller (slide in/out on hover?) when viewing a site, it currently takes up too much of the sites space

+ Padding!

Also, I just reloaded the page and it's suddenly empty (not sure if that's just Chrome going weird though).

Fizzadar··on This Is 2016 Not 2012
Definitely inspired me to put in more effort into my CS degree than I do currently!
Fizzadar··on Ask HN: MacBook Pro still preferred laptop for non-MS development?
An Apple laptop is definitely the way to go - my dev laptop is an Air (late 2010) and it's still insanely fast (despite the out of date hardware). In many ways this is thanks to the SSD drive (which is an Apple one).

The premium is definitely worth it, Apple products seem to last (and stay fast) for years after their Windows equivalents. The other advantage if you're developing webapplications is OSX, which makes it very easy to replicate a Linux server (nginx, apache, RoR, node, php, mysql, redis, etc, etc all run flawlessly).

Fizzadar··on Try pressing 'm' on github
They'll soon need a list (displayed at all times) with all the different shortcuts around the site. Still, very nice idea :)

Fizzadar··on Show HN: Pulsefeed builds a stream from your RSS feeds
Currently - nothing.

Many features (collecting, tagging, suggestions) are planned, it's extremely basic as of).

Fizzadar··on Show HN: Pulsefeed builds a stream from your RSS feeds
Pulsefeed has been developed on and off in my spare time over the last 4 months, I'm finally happy with it's basic set of features, and was wondering what the Hacker News community thought?

Thanks :)
