The Fibonacci code example classically has a horrid runtime. Will like likely crash your browser when supplied a number higher than the low thirties. IIRC it has a O(2^n) runtime and can be improved either by a bottom up approach (non-recursive) or a "dynamic-programming" (OOohhhh, buzzwords) method where you use memoization (memo table) to store (or memoize) results.
When Mozilla releases this, which is at least remotely intriguing, many are quick to find small deleterious criticisms.
The fact of the matter is that they are not removing the earlier dev-tools and nobody is forcing anybody to migrate to it. They are just trying to make another tool to help people. Honestly, if you put these arguments in any other context, either software or real life, they sound absolutely ridiculous.

It's just annoying that he/she isn't providing any solutions and is just being a Negative Nelly. Why not write something like: "Whats Wrong with Cars and How We Can Fix Them". All I got from the article was "Cars suck, all the people who use them are just 'cool aid' drinkers".
Also there are numerous typos, such as: "...it woudl look like this:"
