I don’t necessarily mind the extended stoppage time, it’s actually something I’ve believed would benefit the game for a long time. I’m glad to see it trialled in a populist tournament that should lead to lasting changes in the more interesting competitions.

All of the above combined with the fact that it has just led to some truly terrible football.

The international version of the sport is always 5-10 years, tactically, behind the club game, but the week or so most of the big teams have had to truly prepare compared to the usual 3, has ensured almost every team is playing in the same basic style and that the best players are, if not injured, then just exhausted from the hectic season.

I second this, the book depository has remained consistently excellent despite Amazons ownership, providing slow but efficient worldwide delivery.

A decent portion of those negative reviews stem from various controversies the app has gone through over the years combined with a passionate and easily angered user base.

The main two being:

- The 7.0 UI update in which certain features such as playlists were removed & the UX streamlined.

- The move from a paid app to free with subscription.

It’s an excellent app for the most part, certainly on par with others in that list.

Apple Podcasts “Listen now” tab has a dedicated section entitled “More to Discover” that is based on listening history. It includes around 20 - 30 recommended episodes, mostly from podcasts you’re not following. It seems to update daily.

The recommendation algorithm seems to work well, I’ve discovered a few of my favourite podcasts via the feature.
