Maybe people read it as an endorsement rather than an observation. No biggy, just Internet points. Though you have apparently rescued me from -2 to +5 so thank you.
I've always instructed Claude to check the policies first, frankly I'm surprised it's not smart enough to do that already. Would be easy to add to a system prompt. But usually it doesn't matter because many projects have no policies, or maybe they exist but only in hidden forum posts issues or something.
I'd love if they would include speed (though I know there are difficulties involved). At this point the quality of Opus 4.8 is no longer my limiting factor, it's the speed, so a faster model would be great.
This isn't a problem which needs to be solved perfectly, at least in this context. If some electronic music creators (using 2015 level technology) get reduced play and some fully AI music gets through the filters it's really fine.
Current models are smart enough for me and don't present an existence risk. Good time to show down. Maybe make the models faster and cheaper while preserving performance.
Probably if we look apps used for work chat I would think slack represents a plurality (and maybe majority) of current Claude users. Teams is probably next (or maybe beats it in terms of raw usage) but I bet integration with slack is easier.
Yes the company should be spending that money but it's still an expense that somebody has to pay and should be counted if we're thinking about the system; it doesn't disappear just because you personally agent spending it. And that still leaves travel time which can't be literally reimbursed (only figuratively in money)
"illicit" is throwing shade, but Anthropic can decide not to answer those questions if they don't want to. Plenty of companies don't sell to their competitors
Yes I'm sure that's what AOC meant too but it's not much of an explanation. Who are you to decide what people deserve or earn? And if you're going to decide that perhaps you'd like to provide a better justification, one that doesn't just boil down to "a billion is really really a lot of money".
