Destiner··on Link: Simple, secure one-click payments by Stripe
How secure is that? It’s pretty easy to intercept SMS.
Destiner··on DuckDuckGo for Mac
It's called "DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials" for those will look it up in the AppStore.
Destiner··on DuckDuckGo for Mac
This is awesome news for those who prefer not to use Chromium browsers. Between Safari, Orion [1], and DDG, macOS starts to have a competitive landscape for native browsing. Will definitely try once they will implement password syncing.

Destiner··on Success and Failure at Pebble
Ideally, you don't start building any software until you have a validation. "Soft" validation would mean having people that want to try it, "hard" validation would be preorders. A middle ground might be what Buffer did [1], where they added a fake preorder screen just to see whether people will click on it.

Beware that any kind of "soft" validation may evaporate once you'll try to charge money, so start charging sooner.

Destiner··on Firefox removed Yandex search option
Definitely consider migrating off Yandex. If (when) it will be required by gov to choose either staying in russia or outside of russia, it will choose the former.
Destiner··on Settings are not a design failure
Even better, if you use something like Raycast [1], you can search menu items via a global command palette without touching the mouse at all.

Destiner··on Netlify raises $105M and acquires OneGraph
Personally, the CDN aspect of Netlify didn't bother me much at the time. The killer feature was the "git push to deploy". Compared to S3, that was ground breaking.
